because HDR support on console games and not PC.
his words, not mine.
I said I was playing FH3 on Xbox One because of HDR and the iffy PC performance at the time. HDR has little to do with my decision.

I think he is going crazy. Better bring in a shrink.
I will still be gaming on PC, but I will be buying/playing games primarily on consoles for one reason. My family and friends all play on the consoles. Yes, the resolution, framerate and graphical improvements have their advantages. But when I moved to playing multiplats only on PC, I spent a lot of time gaming alone. So in order to play with others I know, I had to double-dip and buy games more than once. With my backlog getting out of control, double-dipping has to stop. My PC will be a Vive box from here on. I don't play CS GO or Overwatch on PC, so the community has no bearing on my decision. I currently enjoy Titanfall 2, Watch Dogs 2, Final Fantasy XV, Forza Horizon 3, Madden 17 and NBA 2K17. With PS4 Pro and Xbox One S, I get what I need with these titles. Of the games available on PC, are they better there? Yes. But the margin doesn't match the cost. I have over $700 worth of GPUs and a $900 CPU. I feel like I can't justify this stuff any more. The digital foundry PC vs PS4 Pro comparisons don't show me a difference of hundreds of dollars. Really the only thing keeping me going at this point is benchmarking contests.
We are getting to the point where we have to pause the game and nitpick differences. That's fun and all, but with my busy schedule and hectic family life, I can let that stuff go. I can admit games like Battlefield 1 look disgusting at times on Xbox One and a lesser extent on PS4 Pro. But my KDR is nearly the same no matter where I play. (bad!) The difference? My peeps play the game on consoles. And that makes the experience better.
