How can the X360 lose to the PS3, AGAIN? Has the X360 and Ps3 fought before? I must have missed it. Same here, and I told my ticket agent to notify me!!!

OK, this is how the 360 and the wii lose to the PS3; A raft of games, yes games, remember those?, come out and everyone says 'wow, gotta get one of those PS3 things so I can play THAT!'. Right now, we see certain devs and analysts saying the PS3 will win, with no logical explanation as to WHY. Add in the horrific price tag and you have to ask what some of these guys are smoking. Casuals will buy into the PS3 when it starts delivering more gears of war type stuff and less 'we will crush all before us' statements. That kind of nonsense wont sell a wet tea bag.

I'm as big a Playstation fan as anyone else, but I think that all analysts are simply wind-bags. They can all jump off a cliff as far as I'm concerned.
   Didn't one analyst also say the PS3 was doomed and we'd never see a PS4? Analysts don't know anything more than anyone else, and their opinions are just that, opinions.
How come so many analysts is sayin the Playstation 3 will win this gen again??
   So many? Are you counting SCEA employees as analysts? Analysts are fairly evenly split between the three, and none of them put forth very convincing arguements either.

The PS3 beat the 360? Great......except they've still havent released it here in Europe. Maybe they should do that first before people claim the ps3 has already won.

So some people suck at reading. If you read the article in full, the analyst sounds much less sure than it seems in the first couple of paragraphs. Declaring victory for the PS3 now based on this analysis would be premature.Â

I fail to see how lemmings think that the 360 will beat the PS3 in sales. PS2 has too much of a fanbase, like it or not, everyone isn't like us and cannot wait for our next-gen consoles, that is why they are called "casuals" and we are called "hardcore gamers." Most of them have their PS2 and are saying "I can wait for a PS3 to drop in price, 360 is not for me." Like it or not fanboys, the only thing standing in Sony's way is Nintendo.

Actually , most analysts with the exception on maybe one or two picked the PS3 as the victor of this gen's console wars. So if this guy were to give you a link to all of the analysts predictions as to who was going to win , it'll mostly say PS3.
But , then again , who are analysts? They just make assumptions. Predictions. Make a prediction as to who you think will win , congrats , you are on your way to being an analyst. Its anybodys race. In 2010-11 when MS puts out its next gen system, the PS2 will be over 10 yrs old! by that time the premium 360 will be around $150-$200 and with its supirior everything will take the place of the PS2, casual & low income people WILL buy the 360! anyone that diputes this is a moron!

How come so many analysts is sayin the Playstation 3 will win this gen again?? Sometimes I think analysts just dig up old reports change the date and reissue them as new reports. They say Sony will win this generation because the won last gen and the gen before that. Although, anyone with half a brain can see the generation is not the same as those in the past. Sony has stronger competition on all fronts in this gen's race and frankly the PS3 looks like dud. If I were a betting man I could give 3/1 odds that Sony will abandon the PS3 before May of 2008 and 5/1 odds that the company will declare bankruptcy before the end of fiscal year 2009.

I agree completely. No game coming to the PS3 will all of a sudden make the PS3 jump to millions and millions of sales with that high price tag, and inability to live anywhere close to the hype... The PSN will never catch up to Live, and 360 has too many great games out, and coming out that cannot be overcome. Not to mention, it is proving to be a powerhouse console...
