So the GotY award seems like it can go any way.

What game do you think will win the award?

I think it'll either be Super Mario Galaxy or Bioshock.

Halo 3 will probably win the readers award, but definitely not by the reviewers because Halo 3 didn't make anything new.

Either one is good by me.

If Mass Effect lives up to it's title...hopefully that has a shot. It looks incredible.

i honestly want galaxy to win. although it's the same plummer, the game shows that with creativity, a game game like Mario can be fresh and re-invent it self and become even the Very best Platformer ever created.

But yeah, there are some great games this year. i'm just really glad i get to play them all.

1. It's an awesome game. Read the review. If you dismiss the game after that, then you just dont understand

2. The FPS market is saturated so galaxy is more of a standout. Galaxy's main competition are FPSes

3. An FPS won the award last year

4. A platformer has never won GOTY
