So the PS4 only has Knack and Killzone?

This is is a terrible launch lineup. Where are the big games? You would think a system launch would warrant more than 2 titles.

But why are there only 2 big exclusive games. Xbox One has 5 big titles of their own.

Saying that^ the Xbox One line-up is far more interesting, to me. DR3 & KI are two games I really want to play.

Quality over quantity.

Exclusives so big that Killzone by itself will probably sell more Ryse, Forza and DR3 combined. Throw in Knack which is tracking to sell higher than Ryse and well Xflop looks pretty bad.

Killzone is a decent shooter but kinda generic. Knack looks too simplistic and not at all exciting.

KZ has always been mediocre. But Knack looks great, watch some videos.

You seem to be mad over me just asking a legitimate question that many buyers are thinking about. Only 2 big unique titles doesn't seem like much. I'm not the only one that feels that way.

why would you want big exclusive franchises gimped by being rushed? These games take years to make and lots of money too. So if they deliver a bunch of rushed exclusive games for launch then we'll have to wait like 2-3 years for better ones!

Didn't help the N64, which only launched with literally Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings.

SM64 was probably the best launch title I have ever played. Great game.

PS4 launch line-up trumps any previous launch line-up in my opinion and I've been gaming for 27 years.

Besides, how many games do you need per month? Killzone and AC4 will keep me plenty busy till Infamous.

PS4 has Resogun, Knack, and Killzone. Rest are cross platform.

Killzone's really the only exclusive I'm interested in at launch.

5 Big titles? You do realize Killer Instint is F2P and not made by Rare right? Thats not a guarenteed big title, wouldn't hype that if I were you. Crimson Dragon looks worse than Lair from years ago. Wouldn't hype that either. What are the big games besides Dead Rising 3 and Forza?

Killer Instinct, Forza, Dead Rising, Crimson Dragon (Panzer Dragoon), Ryse (will be a lot better than this forum suggests but wouldn't shock me if it wasn't as good as the other titles that I just mentioned). I'm still undecided about getting the XBox One and will mostly likely wait but you cannot deny its great launch games and that's not even counting the many others they have showed on their twitch stream which looked good too.

Yes and not only does PS4 only have 2 exclusives but also in my eyes they are far inferior exclusives to the ones Microsoft are offering. The average person isn't going to pay £350 just for to have better graphics on FIFA, when its readily available on PS3 so I feel that when it comes to launch the exclusive games are very important. Xbox One has a great range of exclusives available for purchase at launch whilst PS4 only has a couple of mediocre exclusives, so Xbox One is the clear winner in this and many other departments!

The lack of exclusives doesn't stop the multi-plats from existing, and if they're better on PS4 that's a deciding factor (like it was this gen with the 360).

Xbox One's launch lineup wins this holiday with Forza 5, DR3, Ryse, Killer Instinct, Crimson Dragon, LocoCycle, and others. Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U also beats the PS4's launch lineup.

But hey. Multiplats are what the cows love nowadays. Multiplats, indies, and paying for online. They've certainly changed a lot over the last year :)

Better multiplats was a deciding factor in the XBox/PS2/GC gen and it only mattered this gen in cases like Skyrim where they really messed up the PS3 version.

Ya the ps4s launch line up is pretty lackluster, the xbone has the better looking exclusives. I'm more excited for the ps4 system but ill probably be playing xbone more this November

The entire launch lineup matters. If you think everyone purchases a console at launch just because of its exclusives then you're wrong. Tons of people will buy an Xbox One and PS4 just to play multiplats like COD, BF, FIFA, Madden, NBA Live 14 etc.

FYI, there's been more titles announced on PS4 then Xbox One. They may just be "indie games" or pc ports or "console exclusives" but they're still games. They may not mean **** in the metagame but they still affect the real world.

And remember cows, multiplats aren't actually games, so they're no use to you. ;-)
