First we hear IGN say it has bad framerates, then GS tells us they have great framerates. So which was true? Did we ever find out who was right?

Fanboys change the rules when it suits them.
Its GS scores alwaysthat mattershere, no matter what anyone says
BlimBlim(Gamersyde) said PS3 was worse by 2-3 fps. He did a side by side comparison.
Also GS is the only site who reviewed both and said PS3 had better framerate, every other site that played both said 360 had better framerate.
PS3 having better frame rate and x360 better lighting was a typo in the GS review, at least two other reviews have reported the exact opposite thing.

the framerate issues are bs, i've been playing the game and its been steady so far, the game has started off kinda slow, hope it picks up soon.mmirza23

thealiasing isn't apparent in most areas but I have seen it, but it really doesnt detract from anything, i have noticed texture pop in's occassionally though, the game graphically is solid though. If he can visually spot those extra 2-3 frames, he must be a mutant.BlimBlim(Gamersyde) said PS3 was worse by 2-3 fps. I picked the game up on PS3, and I haven't noticed any framerate issues. At least none discernible to the naked eye.

 as far as reviews go yes, gamespot is what matters here. Reviews are subjective so we need a set standard to judge games by in System Wars. But with objective matters like frame rate which can be proven one way or another, Gamespot is certainly not the ultimate truth. They may well be right on this occasion but thinking like that is crazy. If they turn around and said the world was about to end you'd have to believe them based on your logic.

You can cling on to that typo all you want, no one sane cares.
I saw some PS3 videos today, and compaed them to 2 big from 360 i had latest, it is 100% sure PS3 gets hugetearing on the screen, that is the sure thing, this is totally mild on 360 videos As for frame rate, it is about SAME, not better or worst, both hung up when viewing large ammounts of stuff, none was any better or worst TBH But the tearing in PS3 version makes it a never buy version, i just HATE tearingFirst we hear IGN say it has bad framerates, then GS tells us they have great framerates. So which was true? Did we ever find out who was right?
black_awpN1
dood, ive played a bunch of the game, and have as of yet to experience any, annnny frame rate issues...my bro has the 360 version as well....and i dont see any frame loss there either. so i dont know what any reviewer who claimed framerate problems is talking about.
unless i have a magic 360&PS3! they both look equally stunning....you cannot cannot i repeat cannot tell the differrence between the versions
and i do play my PS3 on a samsung 30 inch HDTV in 1080p/i

I haven't noticed any jaggies, at all. There's the rarely occasional screen tear, which is a result of anti-aliasing issues, but nothing more than I see on any other game on either the 360 or PS3.[QUOTE="black_awpN1"]I saw some PS3 videos today, and compaed them to 2 big from 360 i had latest, it is 100% sure PS3 gets hugetearing on the screen, that is the sure thing, this is totally mild on 360 videos As for frame rate, it is about SAME, not better or worst, both hung up when viewing large ammounts of stuff, none was any better or worst TBH But the tearing in PS3 version makes it a never buy version, i just HATE tearingWhy bother posting if your opinion is based on an online video?First we hear IGN say it has bad framerates, then GS tells us they have great framerates. I only saw Screen tearing in the Cutscenes where you can move the camera around. black_awpN1Yeah. As I said, it's very rare. Nothing exaggerated as lemmings will try to make you believe.

He is a mutant. :|ok, I suppose that was an estimate, he said that the PS3 version was definitely slower by a tiny amount. (2-3 frames, possibly more since it was noticeable.)

When Gamespot scores R&C 7.5, then Gamespot is biased and IGN is right! When Gamespot says AC has a better framerate on PS3 (while every other known website on the face of the planet says that PS3 has the worse framerate) then Gamespot is the only website that isn't biased! PS3 fanboys never fail to amuse me.
And who cares about the framerate anyway? The PS3 always has that washed out look because its graphic card is slightly weaker than the 360's. The 360 can handle more high and low contrasts and high and low fidelity colors than the PS3's graphics card can. That's why all multiplatform games look nicer on the 360 with deeper colors and better lighting.Ninjaogta
