So, what are your first gaming pick ups for this year, SW?

So, for a bit more of a relaxed thread, what are your first gaming pick ups this year?

Mine are (so far):

Samurai Shodown Anthology (Wii) - Before I picked this up and playing VI briefly, I never played any SS game before. This collection of the first six is going to change that.

King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (Wii) - Never played too much KoF before this either.

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology (PS2) - Nice to have a physical version after having the VC SNES version of Alpha 2 (I know that's far from the best version, but I still had fun with it)

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Wii U) - It's going for $20 US now, so had to get it and build up my Wii U collection.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (3DS VC)

How about you?

I pre-ordered a Switch, does that count?

EDIT: Oh, I picked up a used copy of Titanfall 2 last week.

Dragon Quest 8 for 3Ds and pre-ordered Switch, Mario Kart, and Zelda. That and about $200.00 more spent on my vice: Tree of Savior! All in all, looks to be a very good year.

Got all the Assassin's Creed Chronicles games. Playing through China right now. It's really fun, fairly challenging, high quality. I heard India and Russia are not as good, though :(

Bought Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

I was unsure about this game at first. Didn't know if the artstyle would speak to me and how close this game would be like older titles as Commandos or Desperados.

Anyway, played the demo, bought the full game after playing it for 20 minutes and have been playing Shadow Tactics: BotS since monday xD

Picked up Dead Rising 4 today. Loving it so far... which is surprising considering I didn't really like the previous ones.

Not in much of a rush to play them though.

yeah, Blades of the Shogun is currently scratching my stealth-sneaking-assassinating-hair-pulling-but-loving-it itch just fine :D

shit, i still need to beat Aragami and the last Hitman level, too. There's been some good stealth/assassin games lately.

The Last Guardian (Special Edition) - 40€

Repurchased TW101 yet again the other day. It seems my first two copies grew legs and walked away.

Picked up Hitman recently, I think it was after the 1st of the year, not sure.

Nioh is my next guaranteed purchase.

Oh and I picked up Capcom vs. SNK 2 on my buddies PS3 the other day. I was just surprised he had never played it so I said **** that, handed him 10 bucks, and told him to download it.

Next game on my radar is probably For Honor for the Xbox, my buddies been telling me to pick it up. After that, probably Mass Effect in March. Trying to finish up Watch Dogs 2 & playing some Rainbow Six: Siege on the side; hitting 1000 achievements on both. I still have Forza Horizon III I need to play...lol

And eventually, I would like to get on Final Fantasy XV, I legit bought it and then canceled the order for some odd reason...lol. I still haven't even started The Witcher III and that's also a game on my radar

I'm still debating whether I still want to preorder the Switch to just play Zelda but I'm definitely picking up Persona 5 when it comes out.

I have Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0, Zelda, and Sonic Mania pre-ordered.

I have such a backlog I'm trying not to buy anything in 2017 for awhile. But it will be hard to not buy RE7 when it comes out, especially if it gets great reviews. I loved the direction it took, and I loved the demo.
