It came out much later and didn't sell very well. Not much ownage in that.sonicareTechnical disaster was what I'd call that conversion. The point I think OP is making (if not I guess I am) is that MGS2 was so specifically designed for PS2 that when converting it Konami didn't put in the resources to really make the game work of Xbox. Who's to say that couldn't happen again?
I don't now... I had it on the cheaper and better PS2.

Like I hope to have MGS4 on the cheaper and better Xbox 360... catch my drift?Â
Amazing the role reversal the Microsoft and Sony brands did from one generation to another.Â

was any one here how bad was the ownage?Squall_Griver
It wasn't ownage. It was sloppy port of an old game and it actually added slowdown in some places.
[QUOTE="LoG-Sacrament"]no xbox owners bought it. its the same thing thats gonna happen with dmc4.Sonick54Wait, so people will buy a 600$ console to play it opposed to a less expensive console? i never said dmc4 will sell any consoles. its main fanbase is in japan. there are more ps3s sold in japan than 360s ( http://www.vgcharts.org/?Wii=4.24 ). dmc4 just isnt tailored to the mainly american 360 audience. with a larger fanbase in the major dmc demographic, its going to sell more on ps3.
