So what is the answer of PS3 to the 360 games like Mass Effect or Lost Odyssey ?

PS3 is a very nice console, with some decent games, but where are the mind blowing ones ? How many years will we have to wait to get even one of them  ?

The TC has a pretty good list but he added some games that did not need to be added like Elveon.  It appears to be more of a try hard thread when you do something like that.   Not a bad list of games though.

Nice Star Ocean is a fun game, But I looked at the Overlord images and imo they don't look very detailed and really aren't that great.

When iI say "looks neat" I'm rarely ever talking about graphical prowess. The concept is what interests me, and the graphics look more than playable which is really all that matters.

:)   i know all the moves werent there, but the inviornements were bad and the transation from gameplay to fight mode was so bad...

i know it's a demo, and i hope to god they fix it (and i think thats the idea behind it), but that's what we saw about the game so far... compare that to WKS, and it blows it out of the water

The ENVIRONEMNTS WERE BAD ???? they were stunning, you 100% have missed the HD 720p demo video, you have no idea what you are talking about, the graphics, detail and mapping/shader/HDR are stunning in this game, and themove from video to in game impressive to say the least

Just see the HD video, you do not know what you miss

As for WK blowing it out of the water, not in any way, just forget about it, they ARE comparable in beauty, but WKS is a step back from what LO does in graphics, and it on a given path, environments seem wider in LO

None of these games have even been released yet. Including MGS 4. So that's a very bold claim to make.

That remains to be seen but it's not only ME and LO, it's also Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Fable 2, Cry On and Infinate Undiscovery they are competing against. Blue Dragon has got high scores from reviewers so it's the only proven game at this point in time. Any of the others, even Mass Effect and FFXIII could not live up to the reputation of the developers making them and only time will tell.

We all know FF13 will be fantastic, but my point is that Lost Odyssey will 99% be fantastic too, so comments like "FF13 will destroy all 360 RPG's" are at least idiotic, as are comments like "360 RPG's pawn PS3 ones"

The thread point is that if you consider those 360 games one by one, PS3 has nothing on them, there is so much quality and quantity in those titles, PS3 can't touch yet
