So what's left in the Racing Genre? (56K, lots o' pics)

There are plenty of racers out now (and coming up)  that cover many areas in racing but what do you think is missing, or that we need more of?  In addition to what's below:

and right under Motorstorm you should have put Excite Truck. IMO that game is great...

I agree. I like all racing games, but I don't think we have enough good 'party' racing games like Mariokart.

Wii has no racers cept excittruck, ouch!treyeumph

Yeah I hope Nintendo makes an announcement at E3 for Mario Kart and possibly a new Wave Race.

Well Trackmania is really the only one i own/like that is exclusive to the PC, but it is the 4th in the series. Along with:

Trackmania

Trackmania Sunrise

And Trackmania Nations (Free!!!!!!!) download it online!

I'll have to give it a go; it's a shame there aren't as many good racers on the PC as there are on consoles.  But then again, there may not be as big of a fanbase when it comes to PC gamers, who knows.

You forgot car combat and kart racing - which are actually my favourite racing sub-genres.

I believe there is another Full Auto coming, and I don't know if it is in the genre, but Pursuit Force 2 should be fun.

Well those would always need improvement; I was referring to more racing types (i.e: Water Racers, Flight Racers, etc.)

A drag racing title would be really nice.  EA's Need for Speed:  Underground did a really nice job with the whole drag racing scene.

Forza 2's demo, what little it had, has me hooked.

Dirt looks fun, and I still love to play Cat and Mouse on PGR 3.

You talked about realism of controls. And in that area(as well as overall racing sims and everything that has something to do with them) PCgaming is miles and leaps beyong console gaming. 

I'm definitely looking towards a new TOCA game.
