So What's Next For PS3 Haters?

I think the whole "PS3 has no games" argument is going to die down, little by little. Mainly because now cows are going to counter-argue with "we have a AAAE!"

Ps3 has good games before Meta Gear 4 came out and ps3 will get more games after Metal Gear 4kyacat

The PS3 reminds me of the PSP, which I own, it can do so many things, the problem is, sony seem to have forgotten the its primary function is as a game machine, the 360 has all the same functionality of the PS3, but it all revolves around the games, thats where microsoft put its effort into, kinda like the DVD9 vs Blu-ray, while it did help Sony win the format war, it has been a major hinderance to the cost and sales of the PS3, I don't think anyone denies that

I really do hate the fact that multiplat games are half assed on the PS3...can't Sony start some Porting division or something...I mean it's so clear that the PS3 has the ability to be king of this gen, why do programmers gotta be so lazy and use the weaker system to make games...robmonga2

Sorry, no, the problem is the Cell itself, for mutliplats none of the SPE's are used, leaving the PS3 with a single core Power PC vs the 360 triple core Power PC, its simple, can you tell me which system would have the advantage, add that to the 360, more advance GPU and better memory archetecture, its very very simple, and has nothing to do with the PS3 being difficult to program for

What's next for PS3 haters? Clearly the "no good games" argument is completely dead, so what ammo is there to use? Lack of achievements? Controller is too light? The PS3 could definitely do with a few AAAE's, but the first AAAAE of the generation is obviously a kickstart to the PS3. What do you guys think is going to happen?

And please don't get the idea I'm a Cow boasting about the AAAAE. I'm far from it, I play 360 much more than PS3 - I buy almost every multiplat on 360 and the last PS3 game I bought besides MGS4 was Uncharted on launch. I realise this thread might come off as sounding like "LOL LEMMINGS GOT OWNED WHAT DO YOU HAVE NOW", but I don't want it to mean that, nor do I agree with that. I was just thinking about how much the PS3 gets bashed for lacking AAAE's but now has the only AAAAE.

BTW mgs4 is overated i tried top play them but it was the stupidest story ever

If anything, the only complaint that I have with the PS3 is that there are so many different SKUs and different types of PS3s, and not all of them are backwards compatible. If sony was to do anything, I hope they add backwards compatibility through emulation for the 40GB PS3. It could happen.AmyMizuno
