So what's the majority's favorite console in SW these days?

just wondering what's the favorite current-gen console in SW currently.

Xbox 360. PS3 will win because we don't spend our life trying to prove the Xbox is better than the PS3 and go to our forum while PS3 owners stay here and try to proove that the PS3 is better then the Xbox which it actually isn't.

But when you compare Xbox 360 and PS3 votes between multiplat games. Like Fallout 3 for example there are twice as many 360 votes as PS3 votes which shows there are more 360 Boys around the site but clearly PS3 dominates the system wars in proving such as you just hear PS3 all the time.

there are plenty of xbox360 fanboys on gamespot

the problem is people that favor one system over the other will mostly notice the fanboys for the system that they dont like

i have seen so many crazy things said by fanboys that it makes grown men/women look like 10 year old kids when they are pushing their system

i dont have a favorite console cause i own both

i play my ps3 more than xbox360 but its due to not having xbox live anymore sonow i buy the inferior mulitplats on the ps3 and am more of a ps3 exclusives fan than xbox360 exclusives

i think xbox360 is better based on sales but they are both great systems and it comes down to what kind of games u like more than which system is more powerful cause they each have pros and cons to even out the overall power of each system

I own a PS3 and 360 and love them both. I do happen to love the PS3 a bit more, though.

worst versions of multiplatform games, smallest amount of high rated exclusives, 12 year old ps1 controller, highest price, functionally inferior online, two highest rated third party exclusives getting sequels on other platforms, worst range of downloadable games (ratings swise)

+ it's a humongous failure that sells porrly, cant sell games and has cost sony 4.3 billion dollars

No PC? I still perfer the ps3.

If handhelds could be on there, I'd choose DS. Boy is that getting a lot of time this year (indented list is upcoming titles I'm getting for DS):

• Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
• Final Fantasy IV DS
• Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
• Chrono Trigger DS
  • Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days
  • The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
  • Dragon Quest IX
  • Pokemon: SoulSilver

But if we can't choose DS, then I suppose... its a tie between PS3 and 360. Both consoles get an equal amount of gaming done on them.

its funny how the xbox360 controller that does not have pressure sensitive face buttons copied the button layout of that 12 year old controller (other than analog placement)

and if the mulit plats are that bad on the ps3 why do they get the same ratings as the xbox360 version mmm... maybe its cause the diff is small between the games

if u look at the top ten of each system in gamerankings they each have 3 exclusives on their top 10and yes one SHOULD expect the xbox360 to have more/better exclusives when u think how it takes less time time to dev games on xbox360 + it came out a year beforethe ps3

with that in mind one would think the xbox360 should have a lot more high rated exclusives but yetit does not

and the only perfect score for an exclusive tittle belongs to the ps3 not the xbox360

Why don't you add up how many AAA games the 360 has versus the PS3 for this year, then get back to me. You know, beings that we are not in 2006-2007 anymore and all. As far as overall console sales go, what do you think the numbers would be like if the 360 did not have a YEAR head start? No matter how you slice it, you cannot hide from that fact.

12 year old controller? Well, the Dualshock design has indeed been loved since the PS1, and Playstation fans did not want it to be changed. Sorry you do, but that is your problem, not a problem with the PS3 itself, bud. The only complaint with PS3 controllers this gen came from the lack of rumble, which has been rectified with the Dualshock 3. You are in the minority on that one.

Also, you want to talk about humongous failure overall? How about Microsoft jumping out of the gate a year early with what is clearly an inferior hardware design? Have you forgotten about how failure prone the 360 is or do you just choose to ignore it? Yes, at least they gave a 3 year warranty, but look at the losses on that end. Not to mention that the problem still has not been rectified.

Inferior online? Let me guess, you do not even own a PS3, therefore, how would you know either way? I play on LIVE and PSN and I actually have experienced more lag on LIVE than I ever have on PSN, which is hardly ever at that. The best part? It is FREE. Whatever features LIVE may have over PSN is irrelevant in the face of FREE versus paying. 40.00 a year is chump change, yes, but it still cannot beat free. Sorry, pal.

Face it, BOTH have had their problems and trials. You can say good and bad things about both, which pretty much evens up the playing field when it comes down to PERSONAL PREFERENCE. I understand that only fanboys deal in one sided absolutes, though. So, I do not expect you to agree, much less see the other side of the argument or get my point here. Which is that each side can call out various negatives on the other. Neither one is perfect, and which one is deemed 'better' will always be in the eye of the beholder anyway.
