So, what's your reason for not being a PC gamer?

I remember when I was a console gamer, I was happy. Console gaming was more than enough for me, but that's because I didn't know what PC gaming was. Main reason: Ignorance. Also no money even if I wanted to.

If I could could have one wish, it would for all of you to experience the magic of PC gaming and leave the foul cesspool that is console gaming. That or a Ducati.

I am a computer science major, I own a quad-core rig with 4 gigs of memory and a hd 5750, I played one game on PC (borderlands) and decided to get the console version instead. I just think PC gaming sucks and is a big waste of money.

My current computer is unable to play modern games. It's not even good at playing Popcap games, so there you go. Holding out on upgrading since I've been buying so many consoles and handhelds lately.

On a more serious note, how much sense does it make paying what? 6-700$ for a PC (with all due respect to Shawnzee for not knowing) play one FPS game (which btw always has been one of the PC's strong points) and then dismiss it and pay for the same game on console and dismiss pc gaming for ever?

There are too many games on the systems I already own to afford, let alone complete. I won't waste my money on a system and games I won't be able to play.

I used to be abit of a PC gamer, but in the end it became too expensive... And I actually prefer consoles anyway. Plus I'd rather sit on my bed and play PS3 then have to sit a desk for hours.

1. You can use a controller on PC

2. You can plug a PC into a larger screen

3. Why do you "need" to upgrade? Its not like you have to play every game on max settings for it to look better than a console.

1. Plug in a 360 controller if you hate KB/M.
2. Move closer to your screen or connect your PC to your HDTV.
3. Buying a console to play a certain game also sucks.

I've always been somewhat of a PC gamer, but I've always seen to game more on the consoles anyways.
