So when are Rareware's new games going to be revealed?

They said multiple games would be revealed... I would assume one is a kinect game, the other is a PD game (popular shooters), and I am hoping Banjo or Conker make a return but a safe bet is Kameo 2 since the first went platinum.

I mean they have 3 studios. Are the games in developement for the Xbox 360-2?

I mean do not get me wrong, Halo 4 looks killer (though I am more of a Gears of War TPS guy), but I have been waiting for a good 3D platformer since that Banjo teaser came out (Nuts and Bolts was amazing but that was a kick in the face to fans imo to tease a remake or 3rd game).

I miss the early life of the 360 when Microsoft was pumping out quality exclusives all the time (Mass Effect, ToV, Kameo, Doa4, etc.).

Well for me Rare has so many platformers that I would be fine with one transitioning as long as it retained some of its platforming (think ratchet and clank).

Would love Kameo2, the first was very fun.

It already came out.

Both Kameo & BK Nuts & Bolts were amazing. So much colour & personality. Games these days just dont have that magic & adventure that RARE can do. We dont need anymore shooters, we need more RARE

Hope to see something from them in the future but nobody supports anything that isnt cod so there might be no point since they wont make any money, further pushing them into the grave. Ill support RARE as long as their games have nothing to do with Kinect.

They make the clothing of avatars or something now lol

Agreed, I liked Viva Pinata and PDZ as well... I feel bad at them for having the huge shadow over their head.

I really wish Microsoft would capitalize on atleast one of Rare's franchises even if Rare does not make the game... (Preferabley not Perfect Dark though as there are plenty of FPS games atm).

I thought that new president they got last year stated that they woud only be focusing on Kinect games. Not that it matters since the team behind their legendary games don't exist anymore.

Nintendo ruined Rare imo... The PD team left before Nintendo was considering selling Rare.

Rare when sold to Microsoft still made great games... Kinect Sports was a decent Wii Sports clone ( from what I have heard as I never played it)... Major said though like last year that they would reveal new games at the upcoming show... I waited and nothing happened. I am not calling Major a liar but I think that maybe they are being pushed for the 720 launch...

I really doubt that Microsoft is going to just let all of the IPs they obtained with aquisition of Rare go to waste.

I don't even want them to release anymore games. Watching Rare make 'games' is like watching the cutest, cuddliest, wide eyed puppy getting road killed, over and over again.

If you are looking for a good 3D platformer from them, then you are looking in the wrong place.

I read back in the day that it wasn't release in half of europe, maybe that's why it had low sales?

Jet Force Gemini was an amazing game. I wish they would make another but Rare's soul belongs to Kinect now.

People talk as if Nintendo once owned Rareware, but was it really a major stockholder that onced owned less than a simple majority of stock in the developer? It was never a first-party developer and before it was sold to Microsoft, it was for many years a second-party developer.
