It's a really close call between my wii and my 360. Overall i'd say the Wii is my console of choice. I just enjoyed Super Mario Galaxy so damn much. Way more than i was anticipating. And i'm REALLY looking forward to super smash bros brawl. At the moment though my 360 is getting the play time with CoD4 and Halo 3...
Right now ive only got a Wii, so it gets my most gaming time. It's been a great first year for me, already 17 Wii games. TONS of greats like Zack and Wiki, SMG, MP3:C, RE4:Wii Edition, RE:UC, Mario Strikers: Charged, Guitar Hero 3, Battalion Wars 2 and more.
So i'd say the Wii is my favourite to play, just because i love nintendo franchises. However, followed by Wii it would be PS3.The playstation platform hasgot some of my favourite franchises that arent from Nintendo (R&C, Sly Cooper, jax and daxter, god of war, ico, etc) so i hope to get more of that with PS3.
So overall, Wii > PS3 > Xbox360 > PC. I do not own a high end gaming PC so its last place for me.
I like gaming on the PC, but one of the drawbacks for me is lack of people using mics. I find XBL more fun for that matter.SSCyborg
Same... I played online on my PS3 and didn't know anyone and had only 2 games so I never really got into it while on the other hand I have a full friends list and 20 games on my Xbox 360 so I always return to it...
Only thing I don't like about 360 is the faulty hardware... I sent it in a long time ago and they fixed the disk drive because it wouldn't read disks... then i had to send it in again yesterday for the same problem... and it is the same console... (same serial number anyways...)
At the moment it would be Xbox360 without a doubt. With more exclusives and in general better software line up. Games like Halo 3 mass effect , bioshock, ace combat 6and other multiplatform games such as assasins creed , cod4 make xbox360 the better choice.
I doubt it will remain the same next year with titles like killzone 2 , MGS4, GT5and FFXII coming to PS3. Things will change. Things WILL BE DIFFERENT...
The PC. Between Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., World in Conflict (my personal GOTY), The Witcher, and FSX: Accel., I think I have almost too much gaming goodness.
Thanks for comments... and are you serious... if I complain enough to support they will send me a new 360...? Because when I just simply asked them nicely they said that they only repair and send fixed or refurbished consoles... they said it cost to much to send all people with a broken console a new console... and I understand that because the reason they did the new 3 year warranty thing was because over 100,000 people needed repairs for the RROD and they couldn't simply send them all a new console...
i love my 360 probably the best console ive ever owned the jump from SD to HD gaming, playing gears of war coop with a buddy,playing bioshock for the first time, completing halo 3, and testing out the amazing forza 2..........man i have overdosed on awesome this past week, the 360 gets my vote no doubt ive never had so much quality gaming
Personally I like the Wii best. Its really because of games like Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3. Close second and third would be the PC and the 360. PS3 trails behind a bit.
it wa 360, untill it broke again, disk tray an di had to pay £100 to fix it, i said screw you and got a ps3. the game selction isnt quite as good but its a better console. only reason to get a 360 is gears of war.
