Did anyone else manage to get lucky and get a copy before the recall? I know i did :) I brought it home tonight... havent had the chance to playit yet though. I'm just curious, cause I'm sure SOME copies managed to get out.

Mine is on a UPS truck scheduled to get here on Friday. I doubt I will even open it for a while though.

What do you mean? Does that mean the recall wasn't worldwide?

It probably won't work. I had mine ready to check out at a Wal Mart and a Target, and when they scanned it at the register, they got a "do net sell" message, that they can't get around. It's in the system they can't sell it :(

If you can get a pre-recall version be sure to keep it sealed and sell it on eBay... people pay big money for stuff like that, just look at the pre-recall version of PS2 San Andreas.

I just hope the new song won't be radically different from the original.

Yeah, but Hot Coffee blew over a bit after San Andreas came out. Not within days of release.

If the game is even mildly successful, that "hot" version of the game will be rare and in demand.

You're telling me, I had bought two copies of SA, one for my friend away on vacation and one for myself when it came out. Hot Coffee came along and I sold a original AO edition of SA for 150 dollars. Bought another for my friend and made a clean 90 dollar profit.
