So who here dislike the smash bro series?

I played it a few times but never got in to it.....sorry

Never played it, never cared for it. As with the entire Fighting Genre.

Except for the SF2 series. :)

Smash Bros is the only good thing Nintendo has going for it.billing

That, along with its 1st party games. The rest is just filler, mostly (but not all). I'll be waiting for a year or 2 to actually see some real games, games with Fluid Controls with the Wiimote. :) 

I love the SSB series and it's definitely one of my most anticipated Wii titles of the year.

 That game is excellent, the best multiplayer game ever, its rare that a fps game can compete with FPS in the multiplayer departement.

even if someone doesn't neccesarily like it, they can't hate it, it helped the whole fighting genre. If they hate it, they are just fanboys who have probably never played any of the games in the series

Don't give Smash Bros. too much credit, no other fighting game has an easier way to pull off moves. Anyone can figure it out.

Not I said the kickass Falco/Ganondorf player.

It has no innovation whatsoever, its generic, repetitive, milking decent series, old man.

How can the series milking when there's only been 2 games from the series released?

I think its a good introduction to fighting games.  But after a while kids are going to want to play DOA and Tekken once they grow out of it.

I member years back when smash bros melee was out, there was many people saying how much they dislike the game. now fast forward to the current present time, theres people who love the game. i hardly ever see people say "i hate smash bros", in fact i see more people saying they dislike the halo series, than the smash bro series.

the series is slowly growing and growing more, with the release of new versions. My question is... anyone here still dislike the smash brothers series? and why do you dislike it.

It is the greatest fighting series of all time. It is so innovative and so different from the fighting tradition that i dont even know what type of genre it would be considered. I still play it to this day, and I still kick butt at it. One of the most addicting games ever.

Trust me... there will be plenty of hype, even with the track record here on System Wars.  Remember... the original got a 7.5 and Melee scored just below AAA at 8.9.  Of course, at this rate, Brawl should get 10.4, hehe.
