so, who REALLY preferes Gameplay over grafics ?

I have seen enough topics about "GT5 is better than Forza2 becouse it looks better" crap

and sony fanboys go like "Killzone 2 will be great, just look at it"

and Xbox fanboys are like "but teh suit lookes awesome" ( you know what game i mean)

and PC fanboys are like "teh crysis pwns all consoles"

so, does ANYBODY care about Gameplay on SW ?

i mean go back and try to play the ps1 shooters LOL they stink....

the only games that hold up well over time are RPG's cause they have stories that never get old..

The reason this happens is because comparing graphics is the only concrete way of comparing games that havent come out.

But comparing gameplay is harder and more subjective especially when you havent played the game.

You see, its easier to clame "ownage" when a game clearly looks better than another one but you can't really say it plays better because you havent experienced it.

I just got Half-Life and Deus Ex, for that matter. The graphics look fine to me, but some people might not like them.

Only to a certain degree. Graphics reached the point with the PS2 were they couldn't affect gameplay any more.

This isn't about PS3 man. This is about games in general. When PS4 comes out PS3 games will look bad but will they still be good? Absolutely.

For this generation, I am not playing any game that has a lack of either.

Well since you can't take a screenshot that actually captures the gameplay of a game, and most people take it for granted that those games listed will have decent gameplay, I guess we have to argue about the graphics instead.

It does get annoying with arguments like Forza 2 vs. GT5, where Forza 2 is already out and has already proven it has great gameplay and features, while all we have to go on with GT5 right now are some short videos.

I enjoy older games much moer than current games

TC makes perfect sense! Game developers will spend millions in graphics and come up with a mediocre gameplay because they spend all their resources in making the game look great!

A game that has great graphics is most likely have a lot invested on it, meaning devs are quite capable.

Coz we post pictures here i think impressions are only on graphics.

But when its released the truth comes out on gameplay.

Graphics can enhance gameplay. But gameplay is the most important other wise we'd just look at pictures.
