:D :D :D :D :D

I played it when I went to GameStop during my lunch break to buy Zack & Wiki.

Half an hour is too short to come up with good impressions, so I'll just mention two bad impressions the game left with me. First, Mario feels like too slow, both running and in the bee suit. Second, playing the upside down stages is sooooo disorienting.

Other than that, awesome! I can't think of a whole lot else to say. Played one of the bumblebee galaxy stages, and then one of the Yoshi galaxy stages. I liked the latter far more than the former, mainly because of all the flying and soaring I could do, and all the wonky gravity tricks the stages played. :D

I'll probably go back after work and play the manta ray surfing galaxy. :P

Oh, and YES, its graphics ROCK. If there are jaggies, then they are almost unnoticeable on a 26-inch TV from less than two feet away. I would directly compare its graphics to Viva Pinata. Obviously SMG isn't as advanced at shading, but you can hardly tell anyway.

Larger games often feel like you're moving too slowly. As for the upside-down parts being dissorienting, I'd consider that a good thing. Sounds like fun.

I'm in the UK, i feel left out. :(

I have, however, preordered SMG :D

I once played Zelda OoT in Toys R Us, the control stick was broke (so i couldn't run) and the tv was set to such darkness it was impossible to pass the deku tree dungeon...>_> Anyway, maybe the controller was broken. Or as someone has mentioned, that the world is simpler larger and thus give the impression of you moving slowly.

ah, i remember playing OoT at toys r us, it was in much better condition at my toys r us then yours it would seem.. but that brings back memories, i really loved that game.

that reminds me of watching the ocarina of time trailers before movies at the theatre. How awesome! OoT > life, i think so

Well, judging from the videos Mario doesn't look slow to me... and the upside down part of the game is the part that's unique. :P It'll take some getting used to I'm sure, but I can't wait 'til this weekend so that I can go to Gamestop and see if they have the demo units up.

that's one of my only concerns, the disorientation. But sometimes the camera shifts

Indeed. I thought everyone loved realism in games? XD

Can't get more realistic than a fat plumber being slow.
