I used to be hardcore into Pokemon, when i was 8. Remember when there were only 151 pokemon? I can understand children still liking it because they still make TV shows, but if you're old enough to drive, you should be old enough to grow out of Pokemon. Seriously, what still makes it interesting?
The games. And yes i still like Red, Blue, and Yellow. I'm just saying it seems like it would be a little embarassing to buy a Pokemon game if you're old enough to drive yourself to get it.
man i grew up when pokemon started with the card games back in like what 99-2000. something like that. and with the games. for me it was like a fad at are school one year it was pokemon. then are school banned them for some reason. (i liked collecting the cards not playing the actual battle game). then the next year yo yo's was the fad. i dont understand how pokemon is still around but it is and there making loads of money off pokemon still.

UI care not what people think of me. If they think having fun with a game is so childish then so be it. I brought pokemon into school once and actually got like 3 people to pull out hte game and fight.

I walked up to a local girl at my walmart, pointed "I want that pokemon game". I paid for it, left, the girl (in her 20s) didn't even care. Being afraid to be looked down because of your likes, thats not maturity.

Nah, back then he relaly was the most powerful, along with most psychic types. However, in silver gold, they included steel and dark, both pretty much can crush a psychic type.

And why would I bother checking the facts about such an immature subject? I mean, you're older than 16 and you're still gaming. Does it matter whether it's Pokemon or Gears of War? They are different in that one tries to be mature and the other doesn't, but in the end they are just silly little ways to spend your time and money and have fun.
It's just great fun above all else. There's something so nice about raising these adorable monsters to be these huge ugly fighting machines. It's kind of hard to explain... :?
