So will Zelda, Uncharted, Forza and Diablo flop?

Zelda 3DS was a flop. Can't say about Skyward Sword though.

Uncharted did not score an 8.5 but people still called it a flop so I will take that as a yes.

Forza got an 8.5 (surprise, surprise!) so I will take that as a yes.

Diablo 3 is not out yet, but Diablo 2 got an 8.5 so it floped by SW standerds.

By my connotation, a "flop" is basically a product that does not sell as expected. And pretty much every serious gamer, and almost every casual gamer, will be buying Diablo 3 if they own a PC.

Uncharted 3 didnt really flop, and Skyward Sword is guaranteed a 9.0, with a 9.5 likely, and a 10 possible.

Agreed. These people miss out on so many games it's not even funny. Uncharted 3 is fantastic, and Forza 4 is a fantastic racing game too. Zelda OOT was a great blast from the bast with updated visuals and from what I hear Zelda SS is sounding amazing and I can't wait for it as well, Skryim will also absorb my life too. So far gaming this year has my wallet hurting, and me wishing for more hours to be added per day lol. So many fantastic games have come out and are still coming out. I guess they don't have that problem, since these elitists might get 1 game a year that qualifies their redicioulous demands lol.

SC2's not the same thing... yes, it's a continuation of the franchise, so obviously you should expect similarities, like story and some units/structures... but much of the core of the game isn't the same, 12 unit control groups vs 255, ai/pathing has been fixed, new units, omitted units... even the binds for unit/building control have been changed.

God forbid games of the same franchise are similar, it's not like Halo CE is unrecognizable when compared to Halo 2.

Diablo can't flop. No one is hyping it AAAA or AAA. People just wanna play it no matter what.

Agreed, they could really have done all these things with SC1 even with the tech back then. I actually disliked the more RPG-ish campaign (at some points). i would prefer a linear mission to mission campaign :p And KEYBINDINGS? Really? I'm pretty sure in most PC games you can change your keybindings anyways... you dont need Blizzard to spend 10+ years to do it for you.dracolich55

I'd like to know how exactly Uncharted 3 flopped when it had AAA hype and it got just that.

UC3 met hype, plus it exceeded they hype of this board when you look at the other critic reviews.

SS is getting a 10 or 8.5. At least these are the scores that will cause the most DC and trolling on that day.
