I have 22 systems hooked up in my gaming room and I don't consider the Xbone a good enough system for me to unplug a single one of them to clear the shelf space.

The ui seems fast and powerful, and I like the snap feature, but figuring out some of the functionality has been a challenge. Also, the controller is awesome.

the controller is pretty amazing. i dont get why people complained about the bumpers, they feel great to me. only issue is the weight, its too light.

I was honestly going to say "except the bumpers" but decided not to. When i examined the controller, I thought they might be an issue, but they were fine while playing. Just a little loud.
SO is a lot of fun too. Great platforming, weapons, humor, and art style.
Price was never an issue for me just never got into xbox exclusives d@mn sure not feeling what they got now two forza games im good dead rising 3 nope titanfall nope lol sunset overdrive next halo mcc nope my opinion

To play what exactly? there is nothing on the system that's even remotely interesting except sunset which will most likely head to PS4 in the future thats not counting how how inferior it is to playing multiplats.
i'll wait till they drop it to $150 ( with how fast MS has dropped the price on X1 it wont take too long )

Especially given how godawful install speeds on Xbox One are supposed to be 0_0
The game is about 23gbs, so its going to take a long ass time. Its at 90%, Im guessing around an hour before its done. Thing is, I cant watch tv because that uses bandwidth. Luckily, I recorded the second ninja turtles movie. :P
But i was able to play about an hours worth of the game after some of it downloaded. Its pretty damn fun.
I actually jumped on it a few weeks ago. I saw it at 300$ with kinect and thought it was a good deal. However, I haven't played anything on it besides Killer Instinct, that Halo collection will change that.
Just wait for the Black Friday, I'm sure there will be better bundle deals. If not you can always just pick it up for the sale price its going for now.

Pro-tip that I learned from GAF, even though I know this wouldn't apply to this situation, but in the future if you ever do disc based games (all of which have to mandatorily install)- disconnect from the internet before you begin the install process. That makes the installation go much faster, because otherwise, the Xbox One tries to download all update data at the same time as it is installing the game, and apparently that slows things down to a crawl.
$350 for a console with a few worthwhile exclusives seems like an okay deal, but for me it doesn't out-prioritize a Wii U and I worry that its lineup next year won't be as good as the PS4's. The MCC seems like a crazy good deal but I've never really cared for the Halo games.
If I already had a Wii U and I was dead-set on picking between a PS4 and XB1 this holiday season then yeah, I'd definitely get an XB1.
