SOC remake? yay or nay?

Shadow ofcolossuson the ps2 was amazing. I only played it for a short amount of time but looking back at it now it has accomplished alot. If a remake was to be made what would you like in it?

A lot more monsters. Maybe around 30 haha.

RPG elements.

Different things to kill. (eg bandits, wolfs, birds)

Different Weapons.

Maybe something online. Kind of like forge or little big planet.

team ico are masters of originality, im fairly sure they are looking at creating a new game. whether i want a remake or not i cant say really. on one hand, remaking one of my favourite games with next gen graphics and gameplay would be amazing. however i also dont want to miss out on what new things team ico can cook up this time.Arjdagr8

I say Team ICO should concentrate on new games and not on remakes. SotC and ICO are perfect in my eyes, classics that should remain untouched.

This. A remake would be pointless, anyone who'd already played the game would complete it too easy, but a sequel with, like you said, about 30 or so Colossi would be amazing. No other enemies though, but online would be awesome, doing the bossess with 2 people, finding new tactics, like one person distracting it, the other running around and hitting it in the face.

i'd only want a SOTC remake if they added more depth to the world .. kindof making it more zelda-ish, with smaller enemies etc

but then wouldn't that take away from the beautiful simplicity of the game? it might ruin the atmosphere of isolation if the land was populated by more than the collossi

Um.. better graphics...

Other then that... nothing..

Its a game that can hardl be change without ruining the formula its based on... I.e the suggestions TC wrote there would make the game suck...
