Well I didn't see a thread for this yet so I wanna know what are your score predictions for this game? Honestly, I think it will be lucky if it even scores AA but it most likely will score A or below especially here on Gamespot.

Probably in the 7-8 range , it's not really improving the Socom formula. For a Game to get a great score it has to be an improvement(at least for me)

It honestly looks really good imo, looks like its powered by Unity3d too. I'd give the game a score of AAA.

AA for me. The beta so far has been pretty solid, gameplay wise anyways, and Zipper hasn't really let me down yet so I'm looking forward to this one.

It's a 7 something... I tried the forgetable beta and have cancelled my preorder. It's just generic, and it didn't feel good with the Sharpshooter. Killzone 3 on the other hand makes terrific use of the peripheral.

GT gave it a 7.9 :lol: They took everything that made Socom 1,2 and 3 a good tactical shooter and tossed it out in favor of the CoD crowd. What a shame.

Game seems like it's going to be "mediocre". Probably 7.0-ish but a 6.0 wouldn't surprise me either. I had hopes for this last year, but as they started showing more footage it just didn't look like anything special. Beta was also "functional" but not really interesting. If they went more "COD" style even in the campaign, then that is the biggest mistake Zipper would have made, some gamers want something DIFFERENT!!! But I'm still not buying that Destructoid review. They're obviously trolling. Based on the Beta there's no way it was THAT bad. I'm still probably not getting it though, the Beta was just enough to confirm it wasn't something I hadn't already played before a million times.

Why not just buy Confrontations now? Really if you need your socom fix that badly. Its pretty obvious this game is nothing special.

How the hell could Destructoid rate this game a 3/10. Sure it's just another shooter, but to give it that low of a score is insane. I've been playing the beta and have been having a lot of fun.
