This game is horrible... I can't even play it it's so bad. It just made me appreciate Call of Duty 4 that much more.

Thats interesting... The only problem I've had with the Game is the Original Install time... I just took a break from 4 hours of game play today... I bought the game yesterday and installed everything and I've had Zero problems once I was done with the first download...

The Gameplay is very smooth and intense... I love the sound of all the guns it just adds to the heat of battle... I'm not saying this game is perfect, but As of how it is today its an 8/10 IMO... They could release updates latter to help make getting into the gameplay smoother, but its still very fun...

All of the glitches and connection issues are a real pain. Getting booted from matches and seeing random errors constantly. I had my PS3 freeze on me two times today alone. I love the game itself but all of these problems need to be fixed.strudel420

Really... today is my first day of gameplay becasue I just installed it yesterday and I've not had any problem getting into games and staying there... The only problem I really have is that I don't know the maps and I'm not completely sure which guns to use... I've been playing sense 3:30 (its currently 7:52 where I live) and I just stopped playing to check out gamespot to see if they had a review up yet and do my AP Physics/AP Chemistry Homework...

Really now with this "Cows am owned" BS? Confrontation is one of the best games I've played in years, better than COD4 or GTA IV. I have more fun than MGS4 on this. The review is pure amaturish crap. He criticizes the servers only. It's not even been a week yet and he didn't wait for the servers to get fixed, which the developers stated the next patch coming soon will fix. The game is very playable though. This is why IGN and GameSpot haven't reviewed it yet. They want to give it a fair chance. Gameplay wise, it doesn't disappoint.

This is my First Socom game and even I can understand that Most Online only games start with some server problems... Its insane to think that there not going to fix these problems within the coming weeks... All the problems that I've seen with this game can be fixed with a few weeks...

Please don't try and make any damage control. This game is far from a flop that there's no need to. If you have checked out the review, you see the reviewer cries about server issues due to the hundreds of thousands logging in at once. A patch is being done to fix it. Why do you think IGN and GameSpot and 1UP haven't released a review of this game. GameDaily is not a "neutral" web site.

The PS3 doesn't have any. Uncharted was enjoyable (not OMG WOW - a good, solid game) but ends too quickly. Very short.

Well... can I ask If you play online games a lot and if you have good internet??? were you downloading anything while playing??? are you sure your clicking on the right region of servers instead of one across the world??? Today I've had about the same amount of problems that I averagely have with Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4...

That would be a great idea... Mainly because all the problems they stated could be fixed in a Week or two with a patch... Its sad that they released the game with this many problems, but Its not like they can't fix everything...

cod4 and socom are completly different games. cod4 being a run and gun shooter while socom is a tatical shoot requireing teamwork and skill.SF_KiLLaMaN

Mabye it was like that untill SOCOM 3. But no SOCOM was always just an Online shooter in third person. The singleplayer and CO-OP in SOCOM is tactical but the multylayer is not.

Take a close look at IGN. They knew the game is still getting patched up so they decided to wait till the issues have been resolved. That's how REAL and unbiased games site work.

I'm not completely sure thats why IGN and Gamespot are waiting... No review site got the game early so they have to go out and buy it around the same time that we can... they could be holding off for a fix if it comes fast or they could be just taking a long time writeing a long reivew...

I paid $60 for the game to work.

Try MGS 4. I personally was a Nintendo only fan, till I picked up MGS1, I think Nintendo gamers appreciate Metal Gear Solid, that's how I got PS1, then 2. If you OWN a bc PS3, get MGS The Essentials Collection. There's also Resistance 2 & Litle Big Planet which is now AAA. Ratchet & Clank is another awesome exclusive. You can't get away saying PS3 sucks if you don'SonyMarksman70

I played MGS4 and thought it was okay, but couldn't get into it (and I've beaten the first 3). I thought it had more potential. Resistance 2 and LBP look okay but I still can't justify buying the PS3. I have 5 games for the PS3 yet 22 games for the 360.
