Some Characters in SSBB should be kept secret?

What do you guys think?

I like the fact that they keep adding more characters to SSBB, but i wish they hadnt told us about some (like Sonic and Snake).

When i got Super Smash Bro's when i was younger, i never looked things up on video games, and it was a huge suprise when i unlocked some characters, but know we know pretty much everything about the SSBB, i think it takes away some of the excitment.

Anyone else agree?

YEs they should be kept a secret

i think they should tell us what all the characters are and how to unlock them. there can still be other surprises, but if they dont do that, then I will eventually just look it up on the net to see how to get them

That's what makes fighting games fun, unlocking characters. Heck JUS had so many unlockables and characters in so different forms and that's what made the game so damn fun!

Sure, they might release the third-party characters just because that's good advertising, but Nintendo can keep their characters under the hood.

On a side note, Snake's final smash sucks...

there was always thiss excitement and anxiety when u got "new challenger"

but i dont think they care about that anymore and just care on promoting the game.

revealing snake and sonic was the right move .. increases publicity, and could mean more people buy the game, especially MGS and sonic fans

i'm sure they want to keep other characters secret .. they won't all be confirmed officially, but they'll end up getting leaked pretty quickly
