Not bulls, these are pretty HQ shots.
Also, if these were posted already, do tell.
It also seems the game is still running GameByro, albiet heavily modified.

So BethSoft lied?
[QUOTE="waltefmoney"]Now why would you take his word over the company making the game?So BethSoft lied?

Notice the question mark.
True, but it was that same engine that made Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas somewhat unplayable.IMO, graphics should really be on the end of the priority list. For an RPG there's just so many other aspects that are more important.

So eventhough you have the best gameplay in the world, but if your game keeps on crashing and dropping FPS (on a high-end comp), what is that worth?

That doesn't have to be tied to graphics directly, but more to the game engine itself. New game engine should obviously be highly prioritized as that is the foundation for the whole game, but graphics as in higher poly count and more detailed textures and shaders and so on is less important than story, game world variety and depth IMO.True, but it was that same engine that made Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas somewhat unplayable.[QUOTE="ExESGO"]

Seriously, try playing some not patched Obvli, Fallout 3, etc.
You'd never get pass getting the occasional crash and heavy frame drop.

There seems to be more variety in the environments which is good, and I like the style. Otherwise not that impressed, decent models, bad textures and a plastic overall look. But if the animations are fixed it could be pretty.ManicAceExamine the vast range of environments and stop criticizing a massive open world rpg for not having Crysis graphics
ok. i couldn't get into Oblivion. but this Elder Scrolls looks tight.
and this is - based on these screenshots and the teaser - the only interesting midevil RPG aside from the Dragon Age series that has ever piqued my interest.
Can't say it's a buy, as i'm not a fan of the series.
but it is most certainly on my radar to watch.
The graphics look good but can someone please tell me if there are going to be any unfixed bugs on this game like there was on oblivion goty edition (vampire cure mission) I gave up on that game since I noticed the bug as there was nothing else I could do. Bethesda are so lazy.

Yep! Those bugs are confirmed to make a cameo in SkyrimThe graphics look good but can someone please tell me if there are going to be any unfixed bugs on this game like there was on oblivion goty edition (vampire cure mission) I gave up on that game since I noticed the bug as there was nothing else I could do. I don't want the improvements to be in the graphics, i want them to be in the leveling system and the people/beings inhabiting it.
Dam that looks so sick!
does anyone know if they are going to make it for the 360 then port it to the PS3??? Cuz that would make me sad :( lol
they should make it for the PS3 and then port it to the 360... makes more sense since the PS3 is more powerful and i want to see what it can do and i feel as tho this game could do it if the developers wanted to

Its a piece of art, Not some fabricated machine. I would like to see you on a team building this game so you can understand how much goes into it. I think it looks great, Definite improvement over their latter games.
Rumour has it a random quest generator will also be ingame:o...........That would be awesome!
lordreaven
That would be dumb... just more ways to get away from the story
like japan and america need to get together and make the ultimate RPG... one with the customization and openess of the american rpgs, but with a strong story of the japanese rpgs :) lol
