So I guess this is the good side of Sony. They decided to release 5 Vita games online for purchase. Those 5 games are: Uncharted GA ($45) Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational ($35.99) WipEout 2048 ($35.99) ModNation Racers: Road Trip ($26.99) Super Stardust Delta ($9.99) And the Vita isn't even out yet..... And yes, you will need a PS3 to download these games. [Joystiq] Update: Kotaku seems to report that movies for the Vita are now live. In fact....make that the entire Vita store. You still need a PS3 right now, though.
its a new release...you really shouldn't expect a discount on Sonys system seller at launch.. ALL of them are new releases :? i know, but Uncharted is guaranteed to be sonys system seller. they aren't going to put a discount on a game thats going to sell no matter what. whats similar are the most popular system sellers on XBL. all the COD games still go for full retail price......why? because they are guaranteed to sell :/ (note: this is coming from someone who isn't planning on getting GA til it's cheaper)

That was just finalstar overhyping stuff up as usual :P Sony said the discounts would be closer to 10%, which these mostly are. Maybe he can help clear these figures. It could be up to 40% off not necessarily 40% across the board for all digital games.
Uncharted is still so much cheaper on PSN, think about
Uncharted at Retail = $50+ $7 tax= $57 total
Uncharted at PSN= $49.99 exactly

Of couse its a bit sad tho i was hoping for it to be at least $39 but oh well.. then again i may not even buy it till it gets a price drop, i havent been thinking too much about the vita games, i just need the system.

Yeah I agree, Sony have missed the point with these prices. They may learn though and change things. But until then I'm not paying £36 for a game that will fill up half my memory card, when I can pay £38 for the physical game from amazon.
edit: though having said that, I may end up moissing out Uncharted until it goes down in price anyway

Because you played it? Its a fully featured game with a high budget . You want cheap crap titles go buy an I-pad. I'm a huge Uncharted fan but no Uncharted: GA isn't worth $50. It's worth $40 sure. It has no multiplayer and quality wise is on par with Uncharted 1.

It basically is what you'd expect from your standard Uncharted game. it's not made by Naughty Dog so, I expected as much. I will give it credit though as it has some decent set pieces (U1 didn't really have any). Having to use touch every time you open a door or do a puzzle is annoying though.

So is the shooting more like 1 or 2? The shooting to me personally feels more like Uncharted 1. It can also take a bit of time to get used to aiming with the Vita's analog sticks. They're good but not as good as the console analog sticks due to their size and give. I got over it after a couple of shooting battles and can now pull of headshots like nothing.
I was planning to get Uncharted but I'm not willing to pay $50+ for a handheld game, should be no more than $39.99. That needs to drop fast or no one will buy it.
Uncharted, Wipeout and Modnation Racers for sure. Stardust was pretty fun on ps3. Not sure about that just yet. Wanna get Gravity Rush when its available also.
