Somebody leaked that cancelled 2009 SW Battlefront III game in its ENTIRETY

Interesting twist of events. I had always dreamt of playing unreleased games or previous prototypes of certain releases (like the TPP version of Alien Resurrection on PS1).

Somebody took great lengths and had some serious cojones to put an entire unfinished game on the Internet. The game in question is Star Wars Battlefront III by Free Radical Design. The game was supposed to have both single- and multiplayer component.

There were 20 maps planned:

How does it stack up against Battlefront AD 2015, Warriors?

I do hope it's not against ToS and I sincerely apologize if it is.

Looks enjoyable for how unpolished it is.

EA has a game, Free Radical put all their eggs in the Haze basket, that's how I see it, that and the current game is actually fun.

I was never a fan of Free Radical's take on Star Wars (Snowspeeders don't have those green effects coming out of them!), but they sure made better games than EA.

Video of this has a fair use purpose. For instance it's a good point of reference to consider just how far along Free Radical really was in making the game, versus them saying it was further along. And just how much of those dev funds likely went to finish Haze. And such contimplation is allowed in terms of reporting news, of artistic ctiticism, of cultural commentary, as long as it's provided in such a context, and it doesn't devalue the actual product itself (that already happened when they botched it).

Pretty icky looking, but hey it was cancelled and scheduled for years ago. Looks like the good ol' Battlefront though. I find those maps interesting though, if a bit uninspired in some ways. Wish it could have released. Also, you shouldn't get banned at all, I mean GameSpot themselves posted an article on the same exact thing lol (EDIT: even though forum rules and what GS does are different, but stillz).

It does feel like they where working over the old game, but what does it matter now?

The 1st Battlefront wasn't as good as the 2nd, so this being a letdown doesn't mean much to me.
