Serious Sam is one of them.
Here's the main advantage that consoles have over PCs: One unified spec list. The problem with PCs is that as new graphics cards and CPUs come out every 3 months or so, older set-ups become obsolete. Take a game like Oblivion, for instance. Unless you have a 7600 (at minimum), you can't even run this game decently, whereas with a 360, since there's only one single spec list to develop for, developers can get the max out of a system without having to spend their time allowing players to change the settings. Other than resolution, of course.

Run, Hermits are coming!
Hermits, are just smart 360 fans. I can handle them with ease. Console does have the better games. Just ask the PC developers.Â
but how much did you play to get another spot 200-400 dollars i only pay 50 dollars for another controller so how does that even compare to each otherUm, I have a LAN (LOCAL area network) setup with my brother who is in the room next to me...

I was playing oblivion for over seven months on a 5200.
Oldblivion never underestimate the power of pc gamers ability to adapt and persiver.
and that 5200 lasted me almost five years, hardware does have staying power.

Is this why the PC has more AA/AAA games than any other platform (including the ps2)
Well yeah, but that is because PC platform has been around for a long time. Jazz Jackrabbit is still a PC game yet that thing is like 13 years old! PC might have overall more AA/AAA games then PS2 and other systems, but you have to remember that system have life cycles that require a brand new system to update unlike PC. I'm not sure if that made sense but yes.Â

Unlike you, I don't let Gamespot tell me what's a great game. Console software sales > PC gaming sales. Since 1985. That's a fact. Not some opinionated score. I really want to see how you going to spin this.

Even taking into consideration the consoles lifespans, the PC leaves them in the dust, 3 triple As this year already, and countless AAs.

Bah, why'd you have to ruin my fun, I knew that but I just wanted to get the fanboys going. Funny you mentioned "systems have life cycles that require a brand new system to update", because normally the console fanboys are whining to the hermits about updating a PC "every 6 months".

Well we're on gamespot so that's the only way to keep consistency, but I can play by your rules. LOLOL OMG ALL THE CONSOLE GAMES SUCK IVE PLAYED THEM ALL AND ALL PC GAMES RULEZZZZ I DON'T LET ANYONE CHANGE MY OPINION!1!!!Â
Durh of course they get more sales, but you have to take in consideration that consoles are much more popular than PC's and piracy is a nice big punch in the face for PC games. Originally you said "console does have the better games", then your "fact" is because they sell better. Well then I guess by your logic 50 cent bulletproof is one kickass game am I right?Â
Fighting games
Racing games
Action platformers
Large screens (tvs can be huge)
comfortable controllers
easy to run and maintain
alot cheaper
the games work as long as the console does and you take care of both
there are no drivers, new os's, nor patches that destroy the ability to run a game (generally speaking)Â

The "fact" is people prefer console games more than PC games, hence why they're more popular. Sales is the measurement for popularity. I actually voted for 50 cent to be GOTY, such an underrated game...Â

More people prefer consoles as its more geared towards casuals, who are the biggest and deciding force in each console race ever since the PS1. consoles are mainstream. Now the majority if them casuals have probably never played more than 1 or two PC games.PC gaming isn't about being mainstream and casual, that's one of its strengths in a sense that there is more depth to Pc gaming (in most cases).

My point is, when consoles die, the PC (ironically) still stands.EDIT: As gamers, (not sure about you) we care about gameplay. To base weather something is good or not on sales alone is foolish.

By getting a survey from a large group of people. Then you will get the average choice of what is overall better. On the majority of review sites 50 cent bullet proof scored poorly, thus making the average rating low. If the majority of the ratings are low, then the game cannot be considered underrated. However, if one site rates a game low while the other sites rate it high, then you can say X site rated the game low.

My computer is in my desk, and to get it out with all the wires I would have to partly disassemble the back of my desk (wierd desk, I know).
Desk aside, it's still a hassle. Until they start making 8 pound desktop PCs with two wires, they will never outdo consoles in local multiplayer.
For the record, I have only done one local multiplayer session on a PC in my life, and that was because the guy just happened to have 4 PCs in his house.
