I decided stop making Sonic GL when Sega annonced their Sonic Next Gen, I was thinking that they could release PC games and I don't want to compete with it or they will surely shut down this website ( like SquareSoft done with Chrono project... without reasonin fact cause they don't use this licence anmore)
and of course I like Sega and I would like they manage to success like they done in the past."

Sonic games has always been fast paced. i dont know how Sonic style of game would fit well in an RPG.

Those last 3 pics look fan made or fake :|

The genesis games are still way better than all the sonic advance games, it looks like the DS is more a less the same animation.. He looked way better and more bad ass on the genesis.

On the wii sonic is less of a platformer and more of a race to get to the end of the lvl while not being able to stop and check your surroundings, I haven't played it but thats what it looks like to me.. I don't think anything can save sonic as long as sonic team are involed, they plain and simple just suck at what they do, thats the only explanation.

Of course sonic games arn't going downhill because they are already at the bottom.

What does Nintendo not being involved with anything have to do with anything?

Sonic just is appreciated more on Nintendo consoles than the others. For example, Sonic Heroes sold more on Gamecube than the PS2 or Xbox. It was even reviewed with a higher score. Also Sonic Riders sold more on Gamecube than the others combined. Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 and PS3 was a bomb compared to Sonic and the Secret Rings, which sold very well and still in the top 10.
