Sony adds more games to Greatest Hits + PSP price cut

Today Sony is all about Cutting prices, they have announced a new selection of games becoming Greatest Hits which means the games will retail for $29.99 and their as follows:

1. Heavy Rain
2. Modnation Racers
3. Uncharted 2: GOTY Edition
4. God of War 3
5. UFC 2010

Anyone who havent played Uncharted 2 this is the best deal so get it now!

Looks like I'll be picking up Heavy Rain, Modnation, and God of War 3. Might pick up a PSP at that price too. I don't think it'll be a waste given the uncertainty of PSP1 games transferring over to the NGP.

Nice price, Ill stick to my case modded PSP 2000 though.

Wow if I didnt have Uncharted 2 already I would buy that ASAP! Although I hate those red cases. PSP is tempting, but with the NGP and 3DS coming its kind of pointless.

I cant believe that UC2 GOTY edition is $29.99 :P its so worth it!.. that package offers tons of DLC. if i didnt purchase all the DLC from PSN already i would have got it. only game i dont own is modnation. UFC is crap. sport games are always not even worth looking at

SO what about the PSP Go ? Did they ever cut the price from $249?

I just hope they drop the price of the PSP go I want one cause I have a 50 dollar off coupon for one but 200 dollars down to 150 isn't enough if they lower it by 50 dollars then I can get it for 100.

Yeeeessss...I've been waiting for a heavy rain/uncharted 2 price drop for ages. I had them both but sold them for the next gaming fix. Great games though.

PS3... it only does GAMES!

I might have kept Heavy Rain if the story was good, but at most it was an engaging experience that didn't have lasting appeal.

I traded my copy of Killzone 3 in today to get Infamous and Uncharted 2. I might now pick up Heavy Rain and maybe ModNation racers....

OMG i almost bought Heavy Rain for $39.99 yesterday im glad i didnt. Will pick it up today.

I've been waiting on price drops for all those but UFC, so I'll definitely be getting them soon. But got to wait till after 3DS of course. It pays to wait. Once the PS3 games I want cost about as much as a DS game, that's when it's a good time to get'em.

The Heavy Rain pricedrop is great! It's still selling for $40 or more on Amazon, and I was waiting for a drop below $30 before I would buy.

PSP is not really worth it, imo. Unless you have NO INTENTION of getting an NGP.

NGP pretty much covers everything the PSP has through PSN. Personally, I would not buy a PSP now and burden myself playing catch up. I would rather start fresh with NGP games and download some of the PSP games I missed.

I'll wait for the NGP.

Not every game on UMD is available on PSN though, like Kingdom Hearts, N+, and other games (shouldn't be hard to find out which). And considering how cheap UMDs are, and NGP won't be able to play them, that makes the current PSP very relevant and still worth getting even if you plan on getting an NGP.
