its 2008 now its at 400 dollars the ps3 has the brightest future an is matchin the 360's price point with better newer tech an its not 2 years old like the 360 is and it never breaks down so u dont need the warantee, an the 360 elite with hd-dvdwhich has wifi in it COSTS200dollars more then the ps triple 3 and alreadyhas wifi included in the system an the better blu-ray u do the math folks im doin the math im seeing that the ps3 comes out on top in everyway

do u know what 1080p means 360 fans DO U KNOW WHAT THE 1080p stands for it means THE BEST AROUND it means better then everythin that exists before it it means nothin technology has surpassed this kind of stuff edxcept for sony

The sound quality was and still is better than an MP3 at 192kbps. I know I've done tests against an iPod Nano.

Few things:

1. PS3 is matching Xbox's sale price if you're getting the 40 gig.

2. Xbox 360 also has 1080p

3. Sony's "good stuff" isn't even out yet, so I wouldn't talk.

4. Just because the PS3 is "getting started" doesn't mean it's going to do well. I'm sure people thought the same thing about Bush around 9/11 and look where we are now.

5. You sound like you're either a cheap advertisement or a 14 year old fanboy who obviously doesn't do any real research and basis his hypotheses off hype rather than fact. So really, you have no idea what you're talking about.

The ps3 is such a flop that there is just no fighting its corner. you can try, but you will fail.

The PS3 is doing the same thing the former PS formats did.

The PS1 helped the CD media become main stream.

The PS2 helped the DVD media become a main stream media source.

Now the PS3 is helping the Blu-Ray technology become a standard in media storage (besides how many movie studios does Sony own or own large amounts of stock in this time around).
