Well, i'm excited. :D

I hope Sony markets whatever it is like MS marketed Gears. THat game did wonders for the 360 last holiday season.

didn't we all talk about this months ago? I mean its good that its pretty much confirmed but I thought we already knew.

It'll probably be another shooter. Not that that's a bad thing; I eat shooters like candy.

And so Epic taking advantage of both of them has begun... Wonder what Microsofts answer will be for this PS3 game? Another epic game perhaps? They have got them right where they want them... It became obvious with the Unreal Engine. Not to mention making exclusive content in any of the two will cost them.

Nothing gamers should complain about really... quite the contrary :D .

MS doesnt need another exclusive. They have GeoW2 coming from Epic already

I read in a different rumor that Epic is working with Sony in order to help the Unreal 3 Engine run better on the Playstation 3. Perhaps the messages got garbled up.

I'd wait for an official statement from Sony or Epic before I jump to conclusions.

I've actually read a statement from Rein saying they "missed the boat" on creating a PS3 exclusive for the PS3 launch and that it takes a few years, something they didn't have.

We'll see. We are yet to know what they are doing on the PS3... But in the end, this could very well lead MS and Sony into fighting agains't each other over exclusive titles in the future, at least when it concerns epic.

They are winning huge ammounts of money on their engine... And to actually make exclusive content on only one of those two is definitely strange, since they could gain from multiplats. Unless of course, like I said above, MS and Sony do reach from their own deep pockets.

I was curious since all I hear about them making are shooters; just wanted to see if they pursued other avenues.
