SONY and MS team up for ultimate gaming!

I just hooked a SONY home theater system to a 360 with optical cables and DARN! I never knew sound in games was so big but wow! Gotta hand it to SONY.

They are teamed up in my living room lol. I tried Bioshock with the lights out. And I thought the game was immersive before... The 5.1 has me feeling like i can hear Rapture all around me.

I agree with that statement only if you have a receiver and speakers that can accurately reproduce the sound. Case in point: I can rip an mp3 in 320kbs that will be identical sounding to 95% of the population. Basically, if you have a theater in a box stereo solution, you will not be able to tell the difference. You need high quality separate components to notice the difference. Contrary to the thoughts of many on this board, Sony does not make good audio products. Some of their ES components are pretty good, but the others are just OK.
