Sony cuts their console price, MS raises their's. (At least in Europe)

I got this info from Cnet from their show called Loaded. It's near the end of the video. Here is some bullets I made up from that video:

• Microsoft will raise their price of the 360 arcade from 129 to 159 euros
• The Arcade version will no longer come with 5 arcade games
• The price will not just affect the arcade but rumored the Elite and accessories
• Price change begins september first, so if you want to buy a 360, you better do it quick, if you live in Europe.

Sony lowers their console then MS raises their's? Pretty strange strategy MS has.

Haha I can't get enough of this. They take out the stuff from the Elite, which was the best value. One of the big things about it was that it came with HDMI, while the PS3 didn't. Hell, the PS3 didn't even come with component cables while it still came with the Pro and Elite. Now they're raising the price (as of now, for Europe)

:lol: what is going on at Microsoft? Did Bobby Kotick secretly become the CEO of Microsoft? None of this makes any sense. The only thing that would confirm Kotick secretly being the CEO of Microsoft would and XBL Gold price increase.

Shops in Europe already dropping the PS3 price! SWEET! Just buy the damn console now, people!

Just so you know i think it's confirmed that the PS3 will be £250 in the UK as of tomorrow.

That's life, Sony made plenty of mistakes this gen, I guess M$ wants dibs for 2009.
