Sony definitely delivered this year

I had my doubts when they said 08 would be the year of the PS3 but these past two months have been amazing. Resistance 2, Mortorstorm: PR, LBP, Socom (The game actually is really good and the servers are much better now). Plus we still have all the great multiplats and of course Valkiria Chronicles to look forward to. I really think Sony is starting to get things right this gen and is making its mark with the PS3 as it did with the PS1 and PS2.

Hopefully they will continue this next year and more PSP support would be great.

No i personally think sony did bad on their hand-held section. They released a psp with a supposebly better LCD screen that turned out to be worse. PSP's don't have any super great games coming out except Resistance on it. DivinitySkate

Depends on what you like really. I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts: birth by sleep, parasite eve , resistance ,lbp connectivity, Star ocean 2, those level-5 games :)

edit: oops forgot two sequels to my most loved psp games. PATAPON 2 and LOCOROCO 2 . Heeeell yea!

Apparently it has some very bad screen issues.

been a garbage of a year, IMO. All i own is MGS4 and Uncharted...2 freakin games. I use my 360 for all multiplats and play gears every day. Resistance 2 will be a hire. All i want now is KZ2/GOW3.

SRPG is strategic - rpg. Have you played advance wars? if so this is in some ways similar to it, but in this game you control your characters in a bigger depth then advance wars.

If you haven't played advance wars, then lets say that this is a game similar to Risk.

You place your soldiers in the map and they are of different classes (sniper/machine gun/rifleman/tank). After that you don't just see the game play by itself, instead you enter the battle and can control the characters individually.

There are x amount of moves you can make during one round and then it's the opponents time to make his moves.

You gotta plan your moves, just like a game of chess.

The DS did do much better than the PSP this year but from what I've been reading that will hopefully change next year. Regardless I enjoy my psp very much. Though when I made this topic I was more or less talking about the success of the PS3. Guess I should have made that more clear.
