Echochrome. If THIS isn't 4D, then what is it?

Yep...since we live in our three dimensional world, we can't percieve of objects or anything that may exist in any higher dimensions. We might see projections of those objects into our own dimension, but it'd still only look three dimensional to us.
So all this talk about 4D gaming is a waste of time. We're perfectly fine dealing with good old 3D stuff.
[QUOTE="themyth01"]Isn't 4D time travel? sniperXM_basicno its just time itself
*looks at clock*
Woah! It's... unbelievable...

5D is time travel.
The fifth dimension is where massless particles (like the photon) have their mass. It's only not visible to us because of it's compactness.[QUOTE="Willy105"][QUOTE="themyth01"]Isn't 4D time travel? br0kenrabbit

I wouldn't go so far to say this game introduces a new dimension... But it does look like a very interesting game. I love puzzle games, I'll defiantly be buying this on the PSN.Not-A-Stalker
I was just playing on the fact that Sony basically delivered on every promise (ex: Killzone)
Now teh Cell and 4D are true too.
The Fourth Dimension is time and space. Because those objects are in two places in technically the same time, this is a "4d" illusion. To the person who said 16D, we do not know if that even exists in this universe. The most we can theorize is up to 10D. You cannot have an infinite number of infinite possibilities...it is just redundant.

Nice little dumbed down animation for those who have trouble understanding how dimensions work.
this game looked really boring and very "guess and check" to me. Cool... VERY cool, dont get me wrong, just... boring.
and 4D has to do with time... good luck PS3

Do you not get it? That game is NOT 4D. We cannot perceive 4D images in the three dimensional world we live in.
4D can be actual 4D, not just time itself.
This is how it will be, but I don't think anyone here will be able to imagine it.

There are theories of upto 11 dimensions. Search on string theory if you are interested. Its all mind boggling.

We can perceive 3D on 2D screen, so why not 4D in 3D on a 2D screen? Our brain fills in the blanks.
Im in ur brainz, mindfuxing your logics.

You'd need a 3D screen to perceive a 4D 'shadow'. 3D objects represented in 2D are really only Shadows (Mario has no depth, it just looks like it). An object of 4 Dimensions projected down to a shadow would require a 3D screen or hologram.[QUOTE="Impex"][QUOTE="Frunku"][QUOTE="Not-A-Stalker"]I wouldn't go so far to say this game introduces a new dimension... Because we simply cannot perceive 4D!
