Sony fans should prepare for the worst..........

................if M$ are going to go down the mediabox route next gen then they could do very well with the general public and sell a lot of consoles.They could out sell Sonys console again next gen.

Personally I'm a big Sony fan and gamer so won't be touching any M$ console but fanboys around here should realize however crappy the nextbox is for gamers it could still sell very well.

berry the use of sales as a metric for judging the quality of a console, instead, cover it in berries, berry it in berries. a good console will be able to be pulled out.

The wii out sold Sony and MS with their casual strategy last gen...:) yet Sony is still making games for the core gamer fans, I think we will be fine with that

Assuming Microsoft launches a console that is about as powerful as the WiiU but with a lot of RAM and a Kinect2 (with projector); they could have a console that costs about as much as the PS4 but with most of the cost not manifesting in graphics. Sony will be able to say, "look at these awesome graphics-- this is where your money is going." Microsoft won't be able to do that-- they will be banking on people getting excited by Illumiroom.Dustin_W

Assuming Microsoft launches a console that is about as powerful as the WiiU but with a lot of RAM and a Kinect2 (with projector); they could have a console that costs about as much as the PS4 but with most of the cost not manifesting in graphics. pretty much every T.V sold now days is a smart t.V apps in console is completely useless.

Most people only play games for the graphics so they will probably go for the PS4, me on the otherhand like high frames per second and will take good gameplay over graphics, if I wanted graphics i'd go watch pixar film ya no
