I'm pretty sure the 10-day injunction will be up before Sony manages to solve the logistics of moving their entire PS3 importing process to another location, but I guess it's good news for Sony if LG gets a more substantial injunction put in place.
Leave it to Sony to find a way to get gamers PS3's.

FYI, Sony does want us to be happy. If were not happy with their product, we won't buy it. Sure they're doing it for the money, but they have to make the consumer happy to get that money.

Short story is Sony sued them for infringing on some of Sony patents like LG's mobile phones and then LG fired back and sued Sony for infringing on some bluray dics player patents, LG won a temporary injunction to stop the sale of PS3s

couldn't it be both? i mean sure money is a large factor of why people do things, but most people couldn't stand doing a job or doing something if they didn't love it in some capacity.
Also Sony being how big it is, has an army of lawyers, not entirely surprised they found a loophole somewhere.

Actually Sony can do that anytime if they want. They said so an article if I remember. They just want to maximise sales for PS3 games. that's why they won't release one at the time.

So I guess LG got **** slapped this time...Just by Sony finding a loophole...
sure you can put it that way, but LG did way more damage to Sony. 10 day import ban which can be extended depending on how things goes. 100 thousand+ ps3s confiscated which they can request an order to destroy them. id say thats a pretty big B*** slap. who knows what the implications will be if they win this.

Did you read the article at all?..It's say's only in Holland they can't ship PS3's...
Well they may have found a loophole but its gonna cost the big to start importing through new routes it will prob be better for them to wait out the 10 days and see what happens. I don't think LG will take this all the way prob just a mess with us we will mess with you sort of message to Sony.

Translation:why release a ps2 emulator when we can release hd rereleases for over 30-50% of the ps2 games used or even retail price at this time? :roll: atleast with the 360 stuff they are remasters instead of just rereleases.

The graphics are greatly improved and trophies are added. The price for the games isn't even bad either, you could buy the PS2 version of Sly 1-3 or GoW 1-3 with worse graphics and no trophies for around $40/$60, or you can just buy the collection.

Please, you're trying too hard. "Remaster" = HD collection.
