i might be wrong about this but last i checked, gamespot rated games based on whats on the disk on day one, not what will be available 6months after release...:? So im thinking they will get about the same score.

I certainly wouldn't have paid for more, anyway. Using exclusive downloadable content as a reason for why the 360 version is better than the PS3 version is not very intelligent. Rockstar, like several other prominent game developers, is not very happy with Microsoft for stifling their creative vision for what GTAIV could have been. No hard drive + DVD9 only served to hold back what Rockstar had in mind for next-gen GTA.

Game developers are artists. They didn't get into the business just to fatten their wallets. They wanted to make games because they love gaming. When an artist has a vision, he will do almost anything to see it come to fruition. When an artist fails in this regard, it can be very disappointing. Actually the PS3's version is better cause Rockstar cant fit it on a DVD and the PS3 is its base system.

Even if the PS3 was the cause for the delay, it's only because the developers are still getting a handle on the PS3's architecture. GTA series moved over 40 million units on the PS2 alone. Its not something you should overlook. All the sequels that PS3 owners are looking at have actually been selling less and less each time (Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy Metal Gear Solid). GTA is actually improving in sales (the last one moved over 15 million). And yes, The 360 is getting the best version. You're crazy if you think people won't want DLC for GTA4. They've been buying the sequels and spin-offs up like crazy. People FIEND for GTA. I need to see some facts for anyone to dispute what i'm saying. Show me stats and sales that make you think otherwise.
