edit: I see the one in the patent has a little screen that amplifies the image of whatever stuff you point out. It's like that stupid Super Scope light-gun of the Snes.

I thought they already did with Move sharp shooter, a product Sony seems to care little about. Sony brings out all these products which have potential and then they just let it sit there, they did it with Eye Toy, they did it with Move, they are doing it with the Vita.

If they supported these things better and did better marketing then they could make these products fly off the shelves.

With 3rd party support, it could actually be entertainingly useful.

Let's just be honest here: these "gun" peripherials have never been used before. The original zapper had like 2 or 3 games it could be used on, the Super Scope, had the same problem... do you guys really think it's worth fighting over this matter when, in the end, Nintendo will screw again all those who are idiot enough to buy this new Zapper???

It's a well known FACT, that Nintendo peripherials are meant to f**k you up with the lack of support so if I was going to bet which one will get more, I'd bet on the sharpshooter.

I thought Sony already had this for Killzone 3.

This is one of the cheapest quality controllers I have. I got one bundled with Goldeneye 007 and I can't believe it's a Nintendo products. It looks better in the pic than it is.

Yeah but in 2006 no one had used motions controls.

People have been using touch screens for a while, so it's not like the skeptical are blind. I have a DS and played on an iPhone. I'm not convinced by the idea. The Wii remote execution aside looks like the more radical innovative controller in comparison.

And the whole looking and playing from your controller seems like a small novelty, I buy a home console to get away from that. I want to look up at a nice big screen.
