Sony is clearly in DESPERATION MODE!!! This is getting sad Face Palm Sony?

I guess after 4 years of getting a can of whoop ass by the competition Sony is starting to crack and calling out other competitors and complaining and whining now.

I guess with Sony's latest disaster (Move) with launch game scores between 3-6.5 basically. And an abysmal launch sales wise. Sony is just crying in agony at this point.

Sony really your basicly admitting pure defeat at this point.

Considering how hard they came back in terms of sales and games library, I wouldn't use the term "whoop ass". Still, Move was a mediocre launch which no doubt was perpetuated by a small marketing campaign and a lack of significant launch titles (not just smaller games). Move is a peripheral and I doubt many were expecting it to set the world on fire.

Did something actually happen worthy of note, or is this just a typical SW nonsense attempt to rile up people?

The Move has a poor launch lineup, I agree. But the games are on the way. I haven't boughten it yet, but once some good titles come out, I'm sure sales will pick up. Especially with Killzone 3 coming out next year I believe.

Really? Their in desperation mode? But I'm enjoying this long list of quality exclusives and another long list coming in the next 12 months? I guess because one a few low scoring Move launch titles Move is a failure right? 3 decent games out of the few launch titles is good enough.

Theres more on the way and even more added on support coming like LBP2 (theres gameplay videos with it, it looks amazing) Heavy Rain, etc.

It's going to have better games than Kinect's on rail glitchy no buttons games. Have fun navigating menus (because thats where the fun is)

Both are third party peripherals, which by and large usually tank in sales. I have no doubt that Kinect will be received better (due to MS' marketing campaigns), but "take off like a rocket"? :?

Marketing hasn't been Sony's strong point this gen in general. Add to that the cost of a worldwide high-end marketing campaign and they likely don't have pockets deep enough. Move seems to be far more contingent on the implementation into large "hardcore" releases, and it's backward implementation into games like RE5 (which i've heard has had mixed opinions).

I've yet to see any new Kinect gameplay videos. Did they even fix some of the lag and the glitches? How will there be variety of games with no buttons?

I'm surprised at the number of TGS Kinect games announced but i want to see gameplay videos. The one i saw with the little girls was basically a on rail shooter without guns.

Sony made the greatest comeback in gaming... Everyone criticising them for being a year late, huge launch price, developers whining they had to learn new techniques, low number of games, launch games fairly low quality.... And now look.. The best games, competitive price and many more developers.. still some reluctant devs who just won't change their traditional ways mostly due to laziness but hey... 3mill apart... less than a 10% hardware sales difference... If anything they are the true champs of this gen for coming from the pits of hell to being a worthy opponent.
