I can see that people know only name of Playstation still buy PS2 and PS3 ,

When you say: " Do you know Xbox ? " They respond: " Whatta *** is xbox? "

PS2 is 250$ and PS3 is incredibly 1300$ in Turkey. (Because of extremely high taxes)

Microsoft still doesnt thinking of here. Xbox1 didnt come to Turkey officially. And Xbox360 is not here officially too.

Although Xbox360 is not officially here , You can find 3rd party Xbox360 services that can fix every problem of the console. (including 3 red lights of death)

I'am very worried about people that pays for PS3 : 1300$ and 150$ for each game (yes 150$)

And What are they buying? NBA 2k7 , Marvel UA,

So The Games are all 2nd Class and they are the last ones we think to buy for Xbox360.

Microsoft is still sending Xbox360's to India and just like other countries , and sales fail: 30K sales.

Please Microsoft Bring Xbox 360 Elite to Turkey . (A rumor says that 2008 is that date Xbox name is officially here.)

Sony concentrates more on Rest of World region than MS does. It has a bigger brand name and presence, you only have to look at things like sponsorship of Uefa Champions League (Football) to see that.

Ouside of America and Japan, most of the rest of the world has to pay higher prices on games. Even in the UK a new game is roughly £40, $80.

From personal experience (I'm turkish, born and raised in the USA but have spent many summers in turkey and lived there for over a year) Turkey is still far behind in the video games area. I figure another 5 years till Turkey catches up to the western and asian markets. Seems to me like PC gaming is growing fiercly over there so Xbox is bound to follow.

Sovereign Symphony follow up this game. (GameTrailers.com)

It is the first Turkish game that has a foreign publisher. (And Supports Ageia PhysX)

I hope this game change something. (Céidot Studios has only around 10 people for game developing)

And Marketing is improving, but Microsoft is still denying to bring Zune And Xbox devices to Turkey.

I suggest you buy off ebay.com my turkish friend, premium bundles can be had for300 or less. Throw in Fed Ex and you should get it plus some games and shipping for not too much more than 400 USD. Beats paying 950 USD for an elite !

yuna707 ;

Yes , i prefer online sites for console accessories & games. (ebay , amazon , play-asia etc...)

Many people afraid of online shopping (Credit Card infos are Being stolen every minute)

But i believe that there wouldnt be trouble when you choose trustworthy shopping sites, and the trustworthy seller too.

turkey is not a country with good economy hence such gigantic number of turks living in germany and on other countries.

there's not that many companies that have launched their products officially in turkey that is another reason why it so expensive.

yup MS most do some marketing in some countries cuz I live in Kuwait and all what we care about is PS3, everyone is waiting for PS3 to bring MGS,FFXIII,WWE,Soccer games,RE5 and DMC4 and believe me everyone in kuwait will buy PS3 then and by the way 4 of my friends bought together 1 X360 to play until these games come to PS3 this is how much we care about X360 so yes a lot of people don't know about X360 cuz PS3 has along history and of course anyone hears the name SONY will buy it.

Other way around. Usually MS has a much better worldwide system in place.

Not to mention, I think they're officially in more countries.

However there are quite far from being a truly democratic society...

micosoft makes much more money and profit than sony, as a whole company...you dont need to sponsor football to be rich...
maybe microsoft just doesnt want to take risks in a location they believe has a low probability of profit

True, a game here (UK) is £40-50. $80/90.  PS3 is £425. $850? approx. Evidently, in Brasil, it is around $1700 to buy a PS3. :|

Bargain hunting is the way to go. There was a Zelda TP half price deal during Easter and there's a £360 deal for the PS3 atm.

Higher cost of living relatively speaking as well. Brits don't call the UK Rip off Britain for no reason.

Turkey is one of the biggest tecnology show center. Sony's sold millons of Ps2's here and keep selling now.

Microsoft is still sleeping. Thank you very much.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Wow you can't live in Australia. We get everything months later and it's always gimeped. Like GoW2 we don't get any nice HD scenes becuase they dropped them so they could put all the PAL languages on the one disc. Thats not care thats sloppy and lazy, make us wait and we should get one disk for every (or for small groups of) laungue. If we got it on the same day but gimped that would be passable but not by much. MS on the other had give us big titles on the same day. We got Halo and Halo 2 on the same day we get GH2 on the same day we got GeoW on the SAME DAY. I cannot rember the last game Sony gave us on the same day.

Address: Microsoft Corp. Turkey

I doubt they even see a Xbox360 in their life.

There are a lot of Xbox360's here unofficially. I MEAN THEY SHOULD HAVE COME OFFICIALLY.
