Sony is really starting to piss me off

I really hope this is not just me. For one, the delays are insane. I love PS exclusives more than anything but we got a total of 3 good exclusives since the gen started. One of which was a reimagining. Uncharted 4, bloodbourne, and ratchet and clank. The rest are promises resting on "Greatness Awaits" For Christ sakes I preordered GT sport and it got delayed. Second: overall features. Why do we not have external HDD support. Why has our UI looked the same since it released. Why are we just now getting folders. Why is the wireless card in the ps4 cheap garbage. Why is our store so barebones. Why don't we have 4K video playback. WHERE ARE OUR MEDIA APPS. Jesus Christ Sony needs to redeem themselves tomorrow or I might just go to Scorpio next year. Screw this, I used to back these guys up but it's straight up annoying now. Well that was my rant, anyone have the same thoughts?

@hybrenated: Careful how you talk about Sony...They've done so much to advance gaming, we wouldn't be this far if it wasn't for them. Delays are a part of gaming, and we should be thankful that Sony has the guts and courage to give their developers more time to deliver to us AAA quality gaming on a consistent basis. I trust Sony, and so too should you.

Sony has been great to me so far but that's because I have more realistic expectations from them. I knew with the newer and better hardware would also bring in longer development cycles for games and I'd rather they take their time perfecting their craft than release half assed games like Star Wars Battlefront or Street Fighter 5.

I am a little pissed at the weak hard drive my ps4 came with though but I can always buy a bigger one. Though instead of that, I said "**** it" and am now using my XBone for multiplat games and the ps4 for its exclusives.

I never saw the appeal of external hardrives for console use. Particularity for PS3/4 that allows for easy upgrades. They're more expensive than internal hardrives. Lack cooling which shortens its lifecycle. You can't just plug it into another console without being asked to format the drive. So portability is meaningless.

There's some solutions to help with external drive temperatures. But they're intended to be data backups to be on for rather short periods of time. Not hours of gaming with all that heat buildup on that air tight case for years to come. And increasing the chances of HDD faliure on a system that doesn't have RAID options like a PC from what I am aware of. Is a recipe for disaster.

Sony always start slow but ends the gen with the best lineup. Just be patient and play multiplats in the meantime, there are more than enough. Or get another console or PC. I don't get fanboys, there are so many games out there...

@hybrenated: I agree the wireless card is shat. My brother had to put his on a stool in front of the TV to get it to pick up. Meanwhile the PS3 and Wii U work just fine on the TV stand.

Given that ps4 is the superior multiplatform system (unless you have a $2000-$3000 pc) and has the most exclusives you don't really have much of a choice. Those who thing Scorpio will be less than $600, don't kid yourselves...

Sony still has the strongest lineup this gen as far as consoles go. Games get delayed all the time and with a newer gen with more expectations dev time also goes up. The dev time went up from the PS2 to PS3 and now we are seeing the same thing with the PS4.

As for shit like 4K, wait for their announcement tomorrow. Apps can go to hell, we don't need that shit on PS4 bloating up the OS. I'm in the PS OS 4.00 beta 3 right now and it has an interface upgrade. They should be releasing the final build soon.

@GhostHawk196: I think you meant $20000 or 30000 in order to have a PC that can match the supercharged power of a PS4. And with the Neo just around the corner you'll need at least $100000.
