Sony Is So Desperate And Pathetic (Lair related)

Sorry if this is old but I can not believe this. Sony is sending out Lair reviewers guides. Your system isn't as good as you advertised and your game Lair is one of the biggest flops in history. This just shows you how arrogant Sony still is. Their game flopped by reviewers then they send out reviewer guides. Thats like telling the reviewers they reviewed the game wrong, lol. Pathetic and desperate, I tell ya.

what are you talking about? according to sony defense force it didn't flop. actually it did extremely well earning a 10/10 and is a "candidate for game of the year."

Are you kidding? They're the most unbiased source for reviews. I get all my reviews from their, good source IMO

It is common for review copies of a game to come with a fact sheet, but this is the first time we've seen an extensive Reviewer's Guide packed with artwork and gameplay advice.

Just looks like Factor 5 included extra things into that fact sheet(wtf artworks do there?), which is the pathetic in my opinion.

I guess they got really desprate when a game that they put so much money into hyping turned out to be a piece of crap, it isn't acceptable by any means, but maybe at least maybe Factor 5 learned a lesson on balancing graphics and gameplay, though they didn't have such a problem in the past.

I suppose maybe they should have just made another starwars game ZanuffC

Ignore all the bad features of the game w/ promise to remove them before gold... opps we promise to patch them up...

The graphics are beautiful and artistic don't worry about the gameplay just enjoy the scenery.

Note how the graphics can only be done on the ps3 repeatedly

do not score the game lower than an 8, or we will insult your publication.

If you can't control the game then the game is awful. I suppose cows are the only people that buy games not to play them or don't care if you can. The game flopped because it is awful, deal with it.

:D at the way cows say "Just because a reviewer doesn't like the controls, it doesn't mean we all dont!" :D :D :D

Yeah right like the controls where the only issue:

- Unresponsive controls

- Stiff animation (Soilders)

- Choppy Framerate

- Glitches galour

- 3-9 secound waits till the pause menu loads

- 5 hour game with no multiplayer and very minimal reply value

- Only two types of dragons to use ingame

- Repetative gameplay: Destroy castle, destroy brigde, defeat enemy's defending castle to let allies in :o teh gameplay variations

Check out the Gametrailer's video review and see the glitches for your selfs.

This game really is a disaster anyone defending it is seriously indenial!

By what criteria? If you can't control the game, you can't play it, if you can't play it 4.5 is a better score then it deserves. Who cares if it looks good, I can put a Rolls Royce grill on aVolkswagon Beetledoes it make it a great car?

I know that a company is pathetic when it pays $150 million dollars to a movie studio to drop the competitors format. 150 million dollars that doesnt do any good to consumers, but rather harms some.

Well, if you have a blu ray player and not a hd-dvd player, then you cant watch it on HD because of MS. So MS is hurting Blu ray owners. They should have spent the money to make the hd-dvd version better, giving the benefit to HD-dvd owners rather hurting blu ray owners while hd-dvd owner get nothing for the $$$ they spent.

Sony are not pathetic or desperate, that's M$, considering they haven't made a profit on their games systems yet, and won't do so for 2 years.

Oh, and the reviewers did review Lair wrong, if you play it like a sane person the controls work excellently. They obviously didn't play it properly. I can say this, as I KNOW this from my own experience.

Is Sony Defense Force truely aserious site, 10/10 for Lair. This gen's Martio Kart 64. WTF!

This is just a sign of weakness on Sony/Factor 5's part. Also, last time I checked, there is freedom of the press, reviewers can review a game however they want without developers telling them how to review their game.

Sony Defence Force Lair Review....

Forget the negative reviews you've been reading about Lair, this game is the real deal. Let me paint a picture for you, if I may be so bold... Picture controlling a dragon with the SIXAXIS motion controls along a beautiful backdrop fighting hundreds, no thousands of other enemies, pulling off combos (called Carnage), breathing fire on soldiers all while being taken through a very fleshed out, epic storyline and you have Factor 5's best game yet: Lair. Let me also state that this game is not possible on any other system out right now as it makes full use of the Blu-ray player and the physics beast that is CELL. Free online leaderboards and the promise of Home compatibility round out this amazing package.

Lair is one of those odd games that comes out of nowhere and completely surprises you. It's one of those rare gems that people will not appreciate at first, but grow to love over time. Make no mistake, Lair could very well be this generation's Mario 64&Prime. With greater use of motion control than any Wii game and better graphics than any 360 game I think it's safe to say we have a candidate for game of the year right here.
