It states that all other similar lawsuits toward the Blu-ray drives/disks failed. What makes you think this one is gonna go through?
Exactly that is what i was trying to say.Dont bother even reading it.Fills your head with such crap and gives you head ache.
And upon reading the patent, I just noticed that this patent has nothing to do with the Blu-ray disks at all. It's a patent on recording and reproducing data on an optical disk. It mentions nothing about Blu-ray, and the term Optical Disk is so vague.
Could they not sue microsoft for the HD-DVD then?
They can sue whoever they want with this patent. But it's ridiculous because the patent doesn't point out a specific disk type, just an "optical disk". It only mentions the recording/reproducing of data on an "optical disk". If you ask me, this company just wants money.
Then theres no way they can win with such a vague patent
