Its optional so unless you really want it you don't have to have it. However I think the $100 bundle is a nice price.

i already have the pseye

and the only move-supported games i'm interested in is LBP2 and Child of Eden

both of which don't require a nunchuck

so $50 isn't a big deal, and i'll finally be able to do something cool with my pseye

$50... and then maybe $30 at a much later date? not a problem

better than $150 up front without any idea whether you'll even like it

Well with Move at least you have options in terms of what you want to buy. With Kinect you're most likely going to be dropping $150 or more and it only supports two players.

It's pretty expensive, but it's not like I'll be buying it anyhow.

Hey, I just realized something about Move: PSN is known for being silient, and the PSeye can double as a (pretty good) headset! I just renewed some interest in Move :P

And yeah, the nav controller is not like the nunchuk: it exists only for convenience with no impact on the motion sensing. A DS3 would work fine as long as you play while sitting.

Still less expensive than the Wii

$40 Wand

$20 Nunchuck

$20 Wii Motion Plus

---------------------------

$80 Total if you want the full experience for each additonal player ($240 for 3 additional*) vs. $70 (Move + Navigation controller/ $280 for 3 additional*)

Makes $149 for Kinect seem like the best deal imo.

*In my case as I constantly have nieces and nephews over that like to play together.

you need two move controllers for the fighting game and others because the game has to track two arms. ie the arrow games needs also two move controllers...and yeah i guess you can use your normal controller instead of the navigation controller but that will feel ackward. Still brilliant move from Sony as they can advertise it @ $49.99 while microsoft will have a rough time selling @ 149.99 or less. This is defenitly not a party experinence !!! hahahha add 3d glasses to the mix!!! do peps have the money to afford all of this? for party drunk games....kinect seems perfect, you wont notice the lag and dont have to worry bout people throwing controllers @ the tv!

People really should stop including the nav. controller in the PS Move price discussions...at least for PS3 owners. Those who don't have a PS3 will have to shell out at least 600$ for PS3+Move+3 more wands and more for another Dualshock (serving as the 2nd nav. controller). How many times it must be said, the sub/nav controller is optional :x

The bundle needs to include another Move controller since I've seen two use in a game at the same time.

It would have to work flawlessly with an extremely awesome online competitive game with a very large online fan base. If this happens, I will buy one. :P

Actually, those games will still work with 1 move, but they'll be nerfed in a way. All the games in Sports Champions (Lol Sony didn't call it Move Sports) will be playable with 1 Move controller. I agree with Kinect's potential, I even heard people say that they greatly enjoy Wii Sports while being drunk :P However, I have 0 interest in it as of now, not even for the NUI. I'm not even a hardcore gamer, I just don't see the lasting appeal of camera devices (EyeToy, PSeye, Kinect) in gaming.

Wont holding the move pointer in one hand, mean u have to hold the dual shock with one hand ...isnt that a bit uncomfortable, the dualshock wasnt built to be held one handed,

And Move will eventually have discounts on Amazon too. $50 is still the MSRP for each Move controller, which is the exact same cost as the Wiimote + motion plus.

Well, we're going to have to wait and see how uncomfortable it really is -- and how often games use it. Sony's own webpage says that the subcontroller "replicates the control features of the left side of the DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller into your PlayStation®Move experience." [link]; so even though we'd be holding the dual shock controller one handed, we would only be pressing the controls on the left hand side of the controller; I'm testing it out right now and it seems easy enough.

i propose a sticky for any and all price related topics/wars/discussions. first it was all the stupidness of 360 vs ps3 years ago and now its kinect vs move price wars. seriously fanboys why do you continue to argue such a pointless thing.

Yea and all you need is one Kinect! Sony always gets it wrong! Funny now PSN isn't even free anymore. They won't add adittional content but take it away.
