Sony, MS, Nintendo, Who Needs To Impress More At e3

Who needs a good E3

To me, it's Nintendo, because I need some new fresh games for it, so I can turn it on and play on it.

Also, I believe even if Sony had a good showing, people will be skeptical because they always over hype and under achieve.

So all eyes are on Microsoft for the real deal good stuff coming for sure this year and beyond.

all i want micrososoft to do is announce some new IPs,talk about Cry On, give us an update on XNA, and just give me my demos.

Sony for sure. They're the one's lagging in good exclusives. Give the people some good news at E3 Sony, and just maybe I'll rethink about getting a PS3. :Pxsubtownerx

Nintendo for sure, but MS also needs to pull all the stops as well. Also, MS better not pull that "what's going on in '08" bull**** like they did last year. They NEED to announce '09 titles.

MS: Needs to announce something we don't already know

Sony: Needs to announce when we are getting the things we knew about 2 years ago (We want it now)

Nintendo: It doesn't matter. They'll release some gimmick for the family and they will buy it. Done deal. (More third party support would be great though. Like big budget games big )

Its sony IMO. They are in need of another 2 or 3 highly anticipated titles so that they can sell more consoles. Microsoft is busy building the replacement of the 360 so it seems that they more or less have let their system run its course. Nintendo is also in need of a solid E3 because I feel there is a lull in decent games being released after Mario Kart. That being said I'm really hoping for some updates on Disaster: Day of Crisis, Sadness, and the Conduit...3rd party support must be revived!

Nintendo: They need something to please their "hardcore" fanbase, like Star Fox, or something else.

Sony: They need something to keep the eyes on them, after MGS4 they have the momentum, now is time to keep it.

Microsoft: Very few people is looking at them, and with GEOW2 they arent going to win, they need fresh news.

Bottom line, i prefer Nintendo makes some good announcement, cause the Wii need to keep every one happy.

MS needs to step up and show some good things other than Gears of War 2. They are starting to slip.

SONY is making a good bid to get back up to where they left off with the PlayStation and PS2, they need to show more exclusives I believe, but they are on a good track.

Nintendo needs to show some games, good games. Their $250 machine will only take them so far.

Sony and M$ need to impress me at this years E3, because they are in last place with sales this gen. Nintendo needs not do anything for they can do no wrong in my eyes.ninttyisgreat

As I said in my previous post Nintendo needs to show that they are getting some great 3rd party exclusives. They also need to revamp the Zelda series, beacuse as much as I loved TP, the series is getting stale. Starfox would be great, as I think they could really make good use of the motion controls. Kirby should rear his pink head as well.

And Sony because of SKUs.

For all three consoles they absolutely need to show something brand new in regards to a creation of a IP. I think that would help the industry a lot because we're seeing too many developers who are dependent on a specific franchise. That said I believe Sony has the potential to make things exciting at this years E3. Nintendo is going to continue to make money regardless of their outcome at this event. I like to see more support for the hardcore gamer.

With Microsoft; I'm not entirely sure what to say. There are some old franchises that are returning, but personally I don't think the design for some of those games are going in the right direction. Everyone is going to want to see Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 just as much as some of Sony's upcoming products(that in vice versa).

For Sony and Microsoft the competition between the two needs to continue; perhaps something good can come out of it. The thing is some of the more popular games in production are multiplatform like Fallout 3 and Resident Evil 5. If multi-plat. Hopefully the two companies can wow us. But I just think Nintendo needs that third-party support, and also a game we all will be looking forward to.

I guess I would have to say Sony. not because they are doing bad or anything, but because Nintendo doesn't have to do anything because, well just go and try and buy a Wii, for the most part you still can't get them on a regular basis. With MSFT, they are doing a price cut, so that always ups the sales. I think they will all have a solid E3 this year.

I think Microsoft needs to step up with a good E3... they've let loose a bit.

Hopefully all of them wow us, but the ones that need it the most:

For sales: Microsoft. They need to act quick, and they probably will.

For games: Nintendo. Dunno what's gonna happen here.

Sony needs to actually give their games release dates and stick by them.

sony better does because theres nothing interesting right now for the last half of the year besides resistance 2 and hopefully ff13(not gonna happen but w/e)

I think to really impress they need to deliver what they show at E3 and we all know who failed the most at delivering the goods shown at previous E3s.

This. Nintendo has press eating out of their hands at the moment and practically anything they come out with ensures another year of record profit.

Microsoft on the other hand has to reaffirm it's dominance over Sony before they let them get their comeback/

Nintendo - The Wii really has nothing, whats going on with the rest of 08 ? Zelda's out , Mario's out, Brawl's out, Prime's out ...they need to digg in their toy Chess and bring out some good AAA titles...Rumored Animal Crossing will help a little..I think But really what can that game do that the Ds version doesn't already have ?? Graphics LOL Nintendo needs atleast 3 other AAA titles other then rumored Animal Crossing.

Microsoft- I feel they need a new ip, something that will makes us go Wow...and not another Halo ! Something new and fresh like a Little Big Planet. I also feel they will cut their price..but is that enough to Stop MGS4,KILLZONE 2, GOD OF WAR III ( rumored ), FF/VERSUS, LBP, SOCOM, inFAMOUS, HEAVY RAIN, SOCOM, and Resistance 2 ? I know 360 has DLC for GTA IV ( which I'm hoping gets Dated ), Gears 2, Banjo, Fable 2, and Too Human ..but I don't think thats enough ....I pray a new ip Microsoft talks about isn't another Halo

Sony- They still have the Best Line-up so far but is that it ? God Of War III maybe talked, Kingdom Hearts 3 anyone ? Shadow of the Colosuss II ?? This E3 I'm looking for DATES !! AND More Datezz! Dates for Home, Resistance.. and others !!! Also updates on Movie service, PSN, and Atleast one new ip from Sony

Sony needs to release TEN TIMES more rpgs if they expect me to buy another playstation, the playstation 2 was great because it had so much great rpgs but right now the playstation 3 has none and ONLY 3 FOR THE WHOLE YEAR OF 2008 AND 2009!!! Btw I don't count strategy rpgs as real rpgs.jeffdoomsday

Sony needs to make a great show, with games we know about and hopefully confirm release dates... and also some fresh new announcements on titles we dont know about...

overall i hope all 3 of them put up a good show since all gamers would benefit...
