Seriously, think about it.
They've overpromised and undelivered on everything since the launch of the PS2. Anyone remember AOL on PS2? Toy Story graphics? 4D gaming? Killzone 2 in real time? Remember them saying they could sell millions of PS3s even if it didn't have any games?
The only reason PS3 exists is to push a movie format. Currently, Sony's movie division is kicking ass. They're trying to capitalize on this by making a dominant format for home entertainment. That's all fine and dandy...except when I have to pay $2-300 dollars extra to play games that are in no way superior to those on the 360.
C'mon, cows. Give me a real reason. The only two games coming out that might, and that's a mighty big "might", be worth the money are FFXIII and MGS4. One of those will most likely be ported to the 360 anyway.
I'm not spending $600 so that I can play FFXIII and run around in the glorified shopping cart known as HOME making purchases at Sony's store. Even cows shouldn't have to submit themselves to such filth.

What about M$ spec sheet? The actually setting a goal of 1 Billion 360 worldwide by the end of its life time?

They weren't being serious, they were showing their commitment. and u need to leave sony alone. if sony had left before xbox, there wouldn't have been one as microsoft wouldn't have made one, and there would be no competition. sony still has a big role in the gaming market they just need to get the games out. why is everyone hating on sony yet again just bcuz of this multiplat, they had big news earlier, and the xbox fanboys were mad, now that there is bad news yet again xbox fanboys rejoice. it's like a cycle u idiot.Without sony we would still be playing nintendos lame systems. kool-aidsAnd without Nintendo, we wouldn't be playing any system at all. That's not the point. What's in the past is in the past, and right now, Sony sucks. Badly. They need to GTFO of the gaming industry and stick to their blueray movies.
MS and Sony are doing more to try and push gaming forward than Nintendo. Though frankly, I think losing any of them would be bad.Gamer46I really don't see Sony's contribution to gaming with the PS3. Whatever PS3 can do 360 can do better. Also, whatever a 360 can do a PC can do better but at least the 360 is trying to stay competitive.

They said they want to push the whole industry to 1 Billion. Learn how to listen....:roll:Sony will never leave as long as they are making money. On the other hand if they did leave I bet a company like Apple would join in. Hmmmm.... an apple consol, that would be very interesting to see what kind of consol they would develope lol. bri360An apple console would be the same as a 360 only it would cost 3 times as much and it would crash less.

Without sony we would still be playing nintendos lame systems. kool-aidskool-aids was saying without Nintendo we would not have Sony making the playstation just to get revenge on Nintendo. I am Lame but the playstation belongs to Nintendo. Sony has no business in the gaming industry because they are electronic company not gaming company like the great Nintendo. My brain is fill with Garbage. that is why I call the nintendo systems lame. Sign kool-aids.

No, im a huge fan of nintendo, but i know the importance of there being more companies in a buisness. Without competition, one company will have a monopoly over the industry. That is the last thing gammers want. No competition means no innovation, no improvement in graphics, no games worth buying because their will be no need to improve.RedLobsterpwnsThis is why MS needs Nintendo and Nintendo Need MS. If a new contender arises (or if Sony somehow manages to stay afloat), N and MS will either try to kill off that company or go for each other.

There is self-ownage. Nintendo is trying to push gaming more forward because they're EXPANDING THE MARKET. Its been said a million times by even the lemmings, cows and sheep themselves.
Reggie made a whole freakin speech about it at e3, thats why they designed the Wii the way they did.
And I'm not saying it to take anything away from MS or Sony, but you can't just walk in here and make a comment that you obviously know nothing about.
Seriously, think about it.hey what about m$ saying vista coming out in 2003? you are forgeting ps3 is only out in japan and na.
