i'm finding myself wanting to pick up a ps3 more and more every day.

Wow i thought the 360 had a few.. oh well ill have to wait for some of their big exclusives to come out XD... ill carry on with the ps3 ones i havent had the chance to play yet :P

goes to show how lop sided the handheld 3rd party software battle is in favor of the DS.

Only two notable 1st party DS releases, but it diminates PSP on metacritic 30 to 10, and on gamespot 17 to 6 in terms of quality A, AA, AAA games.

MLB 09: The Show has a 90% on Gamerankings, not 89%. Well, if rounded lol. I'll say Sony is performing the best so far, although Nintendo is doing pretty well too. Halo Wars was not that bad, I think it's underappreciated. This is coming from someone who has no interest in the Halo franchise lol. Then again, I'm quite fond of RTS games.

I have played my PS3 more in the past 3 months then I have over it's 1.5 years I have had it...So I will give it to Sony...

I'm sure they're decent but Nike's just talking about MS/Sony/Nintendo published games. For 3rd party stuff MS are probably having the best year, there's Splinter Cell & L4D 2 coming up.

Definitley Sony and Nintendo. Microsoft isn't even trying.

I think Microsoft got very comfortable with what they were good at and it seems the other companys have grown wise to that and countered it, so this is a slightly low point for microsoft and they will most certainly pull it back, unless natal flops like throwing a pancake at a dog, but at the moment we can all have a nice year or so of sony goodness, while Wii still works away in the background doing nicely.

Gamerankings is garbage. It would be better for us to choose the most qualified web and magazine reviews and then average them ourselves.

Actually, all it says there is that we use Gamespots score to determine if a game is a "flop". There is no rule determining what anyone can call a good game.

Based off of your list, Sony is the more impressive, but in general, I'd have to give it to Ninty.
